    Pros +

    • It’s so different in the best possible way, built as a tiny village, with tons of countryside charm but with new and slick interior in the rooms. View is to die for and food at Ceci, both breakfast and dinner, is top notch (Delfina the chef deserves every bit of credit and same goes for the staff at Ceci). Can’t wait to be back. Last thing, don’t miss out on the SPA, small but amazing and the view is stunning.

    • Stunning location and views. Modern and comfortable rooms.

    Cons -

    • No complaints at all.
    • Quality of service not in keeping with luxury status. Our room and bed weren’t serviced and made. Air conditioning was switched to winter mode, so there was no cooling option even though the weather was mid to high 20s.
    • No view from our room

Breakfast on the balcony each morning was delightful. The service and offering was always sensational.

The property could be slightly updated and outdoor areas cleaned.

Magic place with amazing landscape and view on the Umbria countryside; stylish room and an excellent host like Paul! I will back soon again!

The property is a dislocated hotel, which we loved. The restaurant was very good the breakfast amazing and the views out of this world. Also the SPA was lovely, small and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there, we will come back for sure for another weekend getaway.

The location, food and staff were incredible!

The decor in the rooms could have been improved on.Just needs a designers eye to sweep over and make a few improvements for comfort and an aesthetic X factor.

Its remoteness but fantastic place to spend a couple of days. All Staff were exceptional and the early breakfast for our departure day was an excellent unexpected treat

Stunning location. Magical views. Rooms spotlessly clean and contemporary and stylish. We LOVED that there was no TV in our room… the vibes at Aethos encouraged you to slow down and relax, which is what we needed. The staff were faultless. Friendly, kind, approachable, nothing was too much trouble. The staff always wanted to help us when needed. The restaurant was so special. Eating on the terrace, the views, the thunder behind my partners head! Like a fairytale.

It’s not that we didn’t like this, we feel there could be a small bar/ snack bar down by the pool. Every part of the hotel was so well thought out, however we felt the room where you get your drinks from the little fridge could be elevated to match the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel.

This property is incredible. The staff, the facilities, the food, the pool and the spa are just 10/10. We were so sad to leave, and think it’s wrecked other places in Italy for us as it was so perfect! You have everything you need at your disposal, and the food for breakfast, lunch & dinner is beyond amazing. Could not recommend this place enough.

    That we couldn’t stay longer!!!

This hotel is in an excellent location with amazing country side views from its terraces. You do need a car as it is quite remote but there is ample parking. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good. The breakfast was especially nice as each table had platters of continental breakfast dishes. I recommend a wine tasting at the winery next door. That was an excellent experience and we met the Count who owns the vineyard !

We had a two bedroom terrace suite but the roomWas a bit more basic than expected with no drawers or dressing table. There was no ironing facilities or TV in the room and the plumbing was temperamental. I had hoped to use the fitness room but was disappointed as only a rowing machine. The pool was quite a long steep walk. The restaurant closes on Monday so you have to drive to a restaurant. We were not too happy about this but in the end the staff got us a reservation at the hotel next door. I highly recommend this as the food was better and the chef visits the table at the end. There was breakfast on Monday but only a course of burrata or salad was offered for lunch. We drove a few kilometres to the supermarket and bought a picnic lunch. The spa is very new and needs some refining yet.

We had a really wonderful stay at Aethos Saragano. The setting is beautiful, the pool area is well laid out and it is a great size pool (albeit a bit of a walk down the hill). The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of and we loved the restaurant (both for the views and the food). A very nice breakfast in the morning and then could book in for a 'family' lunch if you liked which was very nice and then delicious a la carte dinners on the terrace in the evening. Nice powerful air con in the rooms that saved us from the heat.

Everything perfect, staff couldn’t do more

Staying here is like a fairy tale. The location is so small and beautiful and yet extremely luxurious and spacious. This is because you can look away at small villages that have been built in the distance and beautiful fields and beautiful areas of greenery in between. The team consists of a very good kitchen, very friendly service and cleaning and of course Paul the manager. All of them busy taking care of the travelers and is extremely helpful. Points of improvement? ZERO! Thank you for this wonderful week!

a set of new pans and cleaning products in the kitchen would be great. And a manual on how the washing machine, oven and dishwasher work. But its just a small thing...

    10LilyPosted on: 7-10-2024

It was such a unique experience. The hotel buildings are scattered amongst the small village so you are immersed in their life. Facilities were fantastic. We had a terrace room and the terrace was the same size as our room it was huge! There are constantly things going on as well. On Thursday they have an amazing bbq by the pool with all guests it was amazing.

A peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside, the view from our room was breathtaking, we spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool. Dinner on the terrace is a must. Our experience was everything we hoped for. Paul and his team are true professionals. We hope to come back one day.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property

    10MeganPosted on: 6-30-2024

The style of hotel is unique with it being spread out within the village. The staff are outstanding, Paul makes everyone feel so welcome and it's obvious that he has a great rapport with the staff. The restaurant was one of our favourites in Italy and I wish we had stayed longer so we could have tried more of the food. We did the cooking class which was a lot of fun and Delfina is so passionate about her food - it's obvious why the restaurant is so good. On our last night we had dinner at the poolside BBQ which was amazing. It was one long table and we were able to eat with the other guests who we'd had the occasional chat with during our stay, but this dinner really allowed us to connect further - so fun! We spent a lot of time by the beautiful pool relaxing which is just what we needed at the end of a busy holiday exploring other parts of Italy.
