Logis Hôtel Restaurant Clair Cottage, Chisseaux - Chenonceaux

Initially it seemed like a lovely hotel offering EV charging.

We were tricked into paying a massive fine because we didn't get up after 1 am to unplug the EV charger. The hotel billed us for several hours after the charger had finished.

Very clean and neat hotel. Simple restaurant and food was good with a nice breakfast.Very handy for Chenonceau Chateau, which is less than 5 min drive.Great value overall.

Could have had more water pressure in the shower.

Quad room was the Perfect accommodation for a family of four plus dog! Great location near the chateaus of Loire Valley!

Beds were super comfortable and the rooms and lobby were very clean. The breakfast was fabulous!!

There’s too much dust on the blanket and room is too old.All the nearby restaurants were closed. So it was difficult to get a meal. The hotel breakfast was also terrible.

A stylish, comfortable room with good amenites. An extremely pleasant and helpful man at reception. He has gone out of his way to help me after I left my coat there. We had an excellent breakfast and evening meal. It was a perfect stop in a quiet village en route to Nantes.

Check in would have been easier for us if a bit earlier than 1600. Otherwise, nothing negative to say.

Comfortable hotel, very pleasant staff, good bathroom, private parking, good wifi

The room was on the ground floor and easily accessible when carrying a lot of luggage.The evening meal was good, (although not "gourmet standard"). All the staff were very friendly. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. There was plenty of parking.

WiFi. Several of us staying at the hotel had difficulty connecting to the WiFi.

It was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. Our van broke down and the staff went out of their way to ring a local garage who picked it up and repaired it. The hotel also prepared us a lunch platter as we were unable to leave the hotel

Lovely big room with a large double bed and a single. Big shower room with a walk in shower. Electric blinds to keep the sun out. Plenty of storage space and air conditioning if we needed it. The bedding was of good quality and we had a good sleep.

Reasonable price

Advertised as having a restaurant which is shut over December holidays on websiteRestaurant shut the night we arrived. Not told by hotel by message nor was this information on the hotel website or Logis websiteWe only booked here for convenience of having an on site restaurant When we arrived we asked the lady on reception where was a reasonable local restaurant since theirs was shut. She shrugged her shoulders and said look on the Wi-FiWe were unable to easily connect to Wi-Fi and when we asked the lady on reception she stated ‘well mine is working’ and walked offPlease tell people when the restaurant is shut and be more helpful

This is a great base to tour the chateaux of the lore.....probably the best bed and pillows I have had in any hotel...5 star quality.Restaurant superb....breakfast unequalled....parking by side if hotel....perfect 10/10

Loved the bathtub and the big shower but the man at the desk was the best part! So nice, friendly.

I felt that the price was a bit high for the location.

Breakfast and location to main chateaux was excellent.

Wifi was advertised everywhere, but the signal was very poor and sometimes unavailable. Evening menu was very restricted, and we therefore went our for more variety.

Huge bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable.

Wifi didn’t work at all, and cellular service was not good either. The restaurant hours were not posted anywhere and it closed very early, ended up having to drive to Amboise for some dinner.
