Portimão Center Hotel by Umbral

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was good, too. The room was very spacious, and the room had great natural light.

I didn't like the rules of having a wristband, no guest. However, I understand why, especially during a festival. However, I still wasn't a big fan of those extra precautions. Also, my room was near the main entry door so people slamming that door every time they came in and out was ideal either

The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff are excellent. Free parking and WiFi also available.

Not a complaint but tea/coffee facilities in the room would be nice.

The wi-fi was rather up and down. More down than up although a member of staff didn't agree

The room was great, clean and had everything one needs. Everyone was nice and there is a comfy patkingspace in front for a (rental)car. The location is a bit outside of the City, but the first thing they gave me was a list of restaurants either in the centre or neer by.

The pool was a bit dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable.

Almost everything, but especially the breakfast. There is variety, with fresh fruit and soy, rice and oat milks. The staff are friendly and efficient.

The toilet was almost under the washbasin! Very cramped if you have long legs.

We stay without water half of day that was the only thing and it was complicated because turns out that we have to leave the key of the room in the lobby and when we went out at night they close the main entrance and we have to knock

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy and cleaned daily. Room and bathroom was good size.

Was in need of a renovation, wood floor by balcony was blistered, one of the rooms light switch was loose on the wall that sorta thing. No usbs tho that's not a major thing.

The hotel was clean and staff were great, breakfast was more than enough- it was a continental buffet and I don’t know why people complain about it, there was plenty of variation, breakfast coffee was excetional, heated swimming pool, I don’t think you can go wrong with this hotel

The hotel is a budget hotel, so receptionist at night was bar staff which is totally expected, no coffee in rooms or at bar. Not much around hotel walking.

Its a nice, small and "traditional" hotel in a residential location. It has good parking spots outside and the rooms are clean with a balcony. Breakfast is served in the basement with view to an underground pool facility, with a great offer of pastries, juices, fruits and other snacks. There are few establishments around it, so it offers beers and drinks in the hotel bar. Staff is friendly and check-in & check-out is swift. The neighborhood is very calm and quiet, good for resting.

It does not have much activity around the hotel, so its a great hotel for people looking for a place to sleep and then wander off around the Algarve.

Arrived late at night didn't have a lot of time to explore the area but overall happy with the hotel

The property treat us like kids, they wanted us to wear stupid tags for the duration of our trip. They yelled and stocked everyone. Like we are in varsity REs or something. If you’re to Afro Nation don’t book this place is the worst ever.

Cleanness staff breakfast was good

Location of hotel situated in a housing estate difficult to find no restaurant in the area no supermarket only blocks of houses the pool not suitable for disabled or elderly persons very dangerous to get in and out

Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and responsive. They helped us with reservation of Benagil tour and were very patient to answer all questions

Location is not close to any beach line which is very important in Portimao. The name is center, but nothing close to being center. The hotel itself is 2 stars, so the value is accordingly. Rooms are old, bath accessories were broken, shower curtain almost yellow from years of usage.
