    Pros +

    • The grounds are spectacular. It's a real gem.
    • Tons to do at the resort, food was delicious and location was beautiful. It was also away from the town which made it quiet and serene with lovely lake views. Also it¿s very family friendly which was great for us.
    • Beautiful grounds, with a number of interesting places to explore. The chalets are wonderfully quaint and cozy with a fireplace, and a second upstairs bedroom with a tall ceiling. A walking trail along the lake is just across the street.

    Cons -

    • Organized activities would be fun for families with kids varying in ages from 2-16. A meal plan option would be ideal if the schedule remains limited. That way older kids can just take care of their own meals, without waiting on adults.
    • The pillows were extremely big and uncomfortable for me, my husband didn¿t mind. It was hotter at night than expected but they have box fans in every bedroom which helped. They will bring a fridge (form size) upon request.
    • No TV, no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker. At check-in they did not mention they weren¿t going to clean the room during our stay.

Love this place - definitely coming again!

Unfortunately, the food in Tavern didn’t meet expectations, and the coffee was quite disappointing. I’d recommend improving the menu and overall quality to make the experience feel more delicious and professional, but overall I love this place.

No tvs, nature was beautiful, lodge was great! Area full of activities and things to do !

    No parking close to lodge

    The setting is beautiful.

The neighboring cabins were partying all night; very loud until 3:00 am…terrible night’s sleep. They seemed understaffed at the Tavern in the morning.

Perfect location next to the Beach Club and docs. Great infrastructure of tennis & pickleball courts and pool.

We had breakfast and dinner there and they were delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The cushions on the couch were too soft because the couch/sleeper is old and uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced in my opinion.

My family enjoyed the fresh snow and accessibility to all the amenities the lodge had to offer. The staff was very nice and very accommodating.

My only wish is that there was enough parking for people staying at the facility. I noticed some parties had 2 or more cars per lot making it difficult for me and my family to find parking that was adjacent to our room. Or at least some ministering or security ensuring that families that rented a room had first priority for parking.

This was a wonderful stay! Amazing value for what you get. Beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities. We had our own 2br2b cottage with a fireplace and beautiful views of the property. The indoor hot tub was very pleasant after a long drive. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Nice location, a lot of facilities, friendly staff

Very noisy. Walls very thin and you hear your neighbors, I woke up at 6:30am , because my neighbor he was going up and down the stairs in his room and she was right behind the wall by my bed.The pillows are very uncomfortable. I left with a sore neck. I don't expect orthopedic pillows, but why such high ones? You can break your neck! When we arrived we were told that there was a restaurant but it was fully booked and we should have thought about it earlier. There is no kitchen or microwave oven or grill area in the rooms so you will have to settle for fast food

I had a very bad experience, when they handed over the room to us, the room was not cleaned, there was garbage on the floor, the toilet and bathroom were dirty and also the bed and sheets were messy and I had to return the room at 7:00 pm in rainy night we went to another hotel with my two daughters and my wife, I think this place was more like a motel than a hotel, anyway it was not a good experience

Our family drove from Los Angeles to this destination, stayed here for one night, and then drove about 17 miles to Snow Valley for skiing. We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom unit, with one bedroom in the loft. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options.曲径通幽处,世外小桃园 (a secluded and tranquil retreat, like a hidden paradise). We’re planning to return soon for another one-night stay before heading to Snow Valley for more skiing. Additionally, we look forward to coming back during the summer to explore the lake.

Dinner pretty expensive, not many options

Bathroom lockes did not work. Our lodge was attached to a second lodge, which is not described in the listing. We were directly accross the parking, where parking was a disater and very noisy at times. The buffet for new years eve was overpriced, and did not meet our expectations ($35/child for mac n cheese and hot dogs). We later discovered that we were charged twice for the room stay.

Faculty at front desk was not knowledgeable about customers who booked with Booking.com.

Facility is super clean and all the friendly staffs made the stay so warm and relaxed!

For people who’s sensitive to noise, the thin wall of the cabin might be an issue.

The staff really go out of their way to make sure the guests have a good vacation. They’re very kind and responsive. The facilities are really clean and well maintained. The rooms are also quite well maintained. The property is very close to the lake and also close all the attractions near by.

Beautiful facility and buildings. Lots of activities for kids. Enjoyed Bingo night, and playing tennis, and a bit of golf.

No kitchen in the 2 bedroom chalet

Breakfast and Dinner were wonderful an loved the peacefulness. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The furniture in the rooms seems a tiny bit dated but even that is still fine.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, especially since it was my birthday weekend! There were so many activities for me and my kids to enjoy without ever having to leave the property. We loved playing pickleball, soccer, and spending time in the Jacuzzi. My kids also had a great time making friends with other families staying there. What made the weekend even more special were the free services offered—like yoga and a sound bath session on the weekend. It created the relaxing atmosphere I had been imagining for my birthday while still keeping things fun and engaging for the whole family.I also loved that, while it’s a hotel, it has a real cabin feeling that adds to the cozy, relaxing vibe. The location was very convenient, too. While you don’t have to leave the property to have a great time, it’s close to grocery stores and Snow Valley, which made exploring other areas easy. This hotel truly provided the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and connection. I highly recommend it for families or anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back!
