The Plymouth South Beach

Great location with an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops. Loved the two bikes available to use for free, happy hour was generous, free sunscreen at the pool was so convenient for travelers, appreciate the ability to store luggage and use the pool before check in/after check out.

We had a one bedroom suite and the pull out sofa bed was tired and dirty and needs to be replaced. We hoped for longer pool hours - 5pm is early to stop using the pool.

The staff was super friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The happy hour in the restaurant and at the pool both had great food and drinks.

The hotel is gorgeous. The bathroom was huge and had high quality toiletries, replenished every day. The poolside area was very nice too. The breakfast wasn't at the hotel - it was at a restaurant nearby - a la carte, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS. The restaurant at the hotel was open for lunch and dinner and also served really nice food. The cocktails by the pool - incredibly tasty. The beach was just a short walk away too. You could use the pool and the beach even after the checkout.

The price was steep. The service was a bit strange - we kept on getting fewer towels than there were people in the room; after the first night's servicing, we found our pyjamas on the floor. We asked for a spare bed - one day we got told the hotel didn't have spare beds, another day they said they'll try to bring one in, then they called at night once we were asleep to say they won't even try anymore for reasons unknown, so for a couple of nights my dad slept on the floor. Room service was slow, because it's connected to the breakfast restaurant outside of the hotel, not their own restaurant.

Great location. Close enough to the South Beach frenetic fun, but two blocks away on a peaceful, quiet street. Beautiful hotel

Lobby furniture was very worn. This looked dated and uncared for.

The Plymouth is a lovely boutique hotel which has kept its character rather than being ultra modernised. Saying that, it also has everything you would expect. Breakfast is excellent and although you have to walk a few minutes round the corner to a café linked with the hotel, it’s a nice walk. Room service is also available. The restaurant in the hotel is open for lunch and dinner and has a sushi and a grill menu and is also really good for both food and service. The pool area is small so if there are a couple of families there is no chance of a sun lounger or space to swim but on a quiet day it’s perfect and also very sheltered when it’s too windy for the beach. The beach is just 5 minutes walk and they have their own club area so you’re pretty much guaranteed a sun bed and towels. South Beach is a good district to be in, there’s a huge choice of restaurants, places to visit or just sit and watch the world go by.

Nice and clean rooms. The pool area was very nice, but unfortunately the sun disappeared and it was shade already from 3PM (in January). The Japanese restaurant was AMAZING!

It didn’t quite live up to our expectations of a fancy hotel. The pictures were a bit optimistic. It was quite far from the most popular areas around Ocean drive.

I couldn’t be more impressed with this hotel if I tried. The vibe was incredible, the rooms are beautiful, the service is great and it caters to every need you want from a hotel. You can keep your large impersonal hotels , this one is just fabulous!!!

Can get crowdy at the pool

The place was clean linen and bed very comfortable. The location is great this is my second time at this property

The swimming pool was under construction . I should have been made aware before arriving.
