Where it was located
Cleanliness of the room, a comfortable bed, and updated bathroom. As someone who is allergic to dust, I appreciate the lack of a carpet; I prefer a bare floor. The night clerk greeted me and was very nice.

One of the two beds was comfortable. I have a bad back and hips. One of the beds I laid on was uncomfortable and I could feel the springs. I didn?t expect that for a new and or Hilton property.

Top Tips
- Book your Ronks hotel 6 to 12 weeks ahead for peak Sight & Sound Theatre shows, such as summer and holiday runs. Hotels frequently fill up on show weekends when demand peaks; this lead time is especially important at major chains and inns closest to the theatre.
- Plan to rent or use a car, as Ronks has limited rideshare coverage, especially outside daylight hours, which can affect arrival and departure times at your hotel. Most chain hotels provide complimentary onsite parking for direct access.
- Expect many Amish-run businesses to fully close or limit hours on Sundays. Carry $20–$100 USD in small bills, as local craft and produce vendors often prefer cash, even when located near major hotels.
- Check check-in and breakfast times at B&Bs and farm stays; many smaller inns have fixed arrival or meal windows, which can differ from 24-hour check-in at chain hotels. Contact your property in advance to confirm schedule details.
- Time dinner at least 60 to 120 minutes before your theatre ticket. Restaurants in Ronks and nearby can become crowded near showtimes, and late seating may be limited.
- Nearly all hotels and attractions in Ronks offer free onsite parking. For sold-out weekends or major events, verify parking terms with your property as some lots fill quickly or reserve spaces for registered guests.
- If you need consistent Wi-Fi for remote work, check connection speeds at arrival or consider chain hotels in nearby Lancaster, where typical speeds of 25 to 50 Mbps are more common. Rural B&Bs may offer lower speeds; test on check-in if essential.
- Plan a spring hotel stay to save 20 to 30% over peak fall rates. This period offers more affordable options compared to September to November festival weekends.
- Choose hotels along Route 30 for a 10 to 15 minute drive to Sight & Sound Theatre and other attractions. Many national chains in Ronks are clustered along this road for traveler access.
- For reliable Wi-Fi and standard business amenities, chain hotels like Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn offer expected speeds of 25 to 50 Mbps, often included in the nightly rate. Independent inns may vary, so ask about connection quality before booking.
- Expect surges of 25 to 40% on hotel rates during fall festivals like Renningers Antique Extravaganza. Secure your room at least 3 months in advance to avoid last-minute price jumps.
- Pay in USD when booking or checking in to avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) fees of 1 to 3%. Use local bank ATMs for cash, as many local vendors at markets near major hotels accept only cash.
- Look for hotels offering complimentary breakfast—common among budget and mid-tier chains—to save $15 to $25 USD per day on meals.
- For accessibility needs, call ahead to reserve step-free access or an accessible room. Major chain hotels in Ronks typically provide these features, but availability may be limited during peak dates.
- Water quality is generally potable in Ronks, but if staying at a historic inn, verify water safety at check-in. Most chain hotels provide filtered or quality-assured tap water meeting local health standards.
