Disgusting. The most filthy place possible.
We did not like anything about this hotel, I know it¿s a motel 6 and we shouldn¿t expect much but even then we were disappointed, floors weren¿t even swept and mopped, there were spots of what looked like beer on the floor the wasn¿t even dried off,

Top Tips
- Arrive via Ontario International Airport (ONT) for the shortest airport-to-Walnut transfer, with a typical drive of 25-35 minutes (18-24 miles) off-peak. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 35-50 miles and usually takes 45-75 minutes by car depending on traffic. Confirm your arrival time to avoid peak rush-hour delays.
- During major Mt. San Antonio College events, such as the Relays or commencements, reserve your hotel room at least 4 weeks in advance, as room demand spikes and availability shrinks rapidly.
- Compare hotel rates in nearby Diamond Bar and west Pomona, which are typically 8-12 miles from Walnut and often feature more room choices and lower nightly rates than Walnut center.
- Expect complimentary on-site self-parking at most major suburban hotels in the Walnut area. Confirm parking availability and any overnight vehicle policies during booking, especially if you require accessible parking spaces.
- Public transit options in Walnut are limited, and first and last-mile transport is usually by car or rideshare. The nearest Metrolink rail stations are in Pomona and Covina (8-12 miles, 20-35 minute drive), and Foothill Transit bus routes may add 20-60 minutes at off-peak times or weekends. If you need accessibility support, check local rideshare options and transit accessibility features before your trip.
- Factor in peak-hour congestion on SR-60 and CA-57 (7-9 AM and 4-7 PM); these periods can add 25-40 minutes to journeys. Schedule airport pickups or outings with an extra 30-45 minute buffer to avoid delays, and use a live traffic app for current conditions.
- Hotels in Walnut observe year-round drought-driven water conservation, such as towel or linen reuse and lower-flow showerheads. Pool or outdoor landscaping services may be scaled back during severe drought; ask your hotel if full amenities are a priority.
- The nearest full-service hospital, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, is 8-12 miles (15-25 minute drive) from central Walnut. If you need accessible or emergency medical services, confirm routes and support options with your hotel's front desk on arrival.
- With few hotels inside Walnut and limited transit, always confirm airport shuttle details or parking arrangements before booking. Many suburban hotels do not offer shuttles unless explicitly noted; request accessible transport if required.
- Most hotel staff in the San Gabriel Valley offer service in both English and Spanish. Request a bilingual staff member during check-in if you need Spanish assistance.
