Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott South Boston

When I first got there the lady told me I couldn’t check in & it was 3 o clock I didn’t know if she was just in a rush or what but 5 min later when staff clocked it she got me a room so I wasn’t late for my cousins wedding

The room was very clean.

I wouldn't have paid this much if I knew that the indoor pool was out of order. Pool was the only reason we stayed there, so very disappointed.

Their cleanliness, professionalism, pool requirements during covid.

No room cleaning on the weekends.

Very neat & Clean . Good Location

I stayed on the second floor{208)the noise, stomping jumping every night was very annoying.

The shower was really nice the bed was comfortable but a little small and the room was very clean .

Free Breakfast & Wifi

The room had a strange smell, when you first entered the room.

Spotless room, extremely comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with fabulous shower. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Only negative was that apparently the person staying in the room above us decided to get their workout in at 6:00am and woke us up with the jogging and jumping around.

The staff was extremely friendly and the room was modern and very clean, it had a fresh sent from the moment we walked in the room.

The price was too much for South Boston, VA.and the breakfast needs improvement.

The hotel is located on Hwy 58 and is very convenient, the staff is exceptional in every way!

This is a nice property but even with so called renovations it’s a 2.5-3 star hotel.

I stay here often and the rooms always have an issue. Either we have to be careful with the doors leading into the hallway because someone can most definitely come in behind us with no problem. The doors are also very hard to open. The showers either do not drain or the shower doors do not close all the way. My last stay the shower had an awful smell and it would not drain. Also, the refrigerators half work. Usually the staff are very polite but recently I’ve had several employees who were very rude.

The breakfast was very good. The lady servicing the food was excellent. Everything was nice and clean. Room was very comfortable.

The room was expensive. There was no discount for a second night. I did not receive any discount through AARP, AAA, or AMAC senior discount. And no Discount from Booking.comEspecially for a small town.
