The rooms were very big and very clean. I was a little nervous bc the lobby was a bit dirty, but that's likely due to how busy it is. The rooms are sound proof thank goodness. The breakfast was great. All the staff was super nice.

Cleaninliness is the most important feature that appealed to me the most. My hotel room was super clean; the bathroom and toilet looked spotless. I felt like I was at home.
Food was not what I expected, most hotel offers more than 1 hot item (eggs + bacon), they only had eggs, Bathrooms does not have toiletries such as small toothpastes, shower caps,

Top Tips
- Book your Manhasset hotel 4 to 6 weeks in advance for summer stays to secure rates 15-25% below peak, as nightly prices increase 20-30% from June to August with increased beach visitation. Compare rates on weekdays for the best value.
- Expand your search to hotels in Great Neck, Roslyn, or Port Washington for access to 10-20% lower nightly rates and more room types than the limited Manhasset boutique hotel selection. Review transit options if you need direct access to Manhasset attractions.
- Expect an 11-12% tax on your hotel bill for state and county occupancy, which can add $15 to $20 per night at mid-range properties. Review the final booking summary for an itemized tax breakdown before confirming.
- Check if parking is included before booking, as several local hotels offer free or flat-rate parking, but garage fees near Americana Manhasset can reach $20-$40 daily. Contact your hotel for current parking policies and any accessibility accommodations.
- Allow 20-45 minutes for travel to LaGuardia Airport (LGA), Manhasset's nearest major airport, with extra time needed during rush hour (7:30-10:00 am; 4:00-7:00 pm). Schedule transportation early, especially for morning flights.
- Plan your Americana Manhasset shopping trip midweek or before 11:00 am on weekdays for faster parking and minimal restaurant waits. Some shops open as early as 10:00 am, so check specific hours to maximize your time.
- Request confirmation of in-room Wi-Fi speed and a quiet room away from event spaces if working remotely, as suburban hotels vary in business amenities. Ask staff for current Mbps bandwidth if critical for video meetings.
- Obtain written confirmation for step-free room access and bathroom features before booking older hotels, since 60% of Nassau County hotels built before 1980 may lack elevators. Specify needed accessibility features such as visual alarms or ramp access when reserving.
- Hotels within a 10-minute walk of Americana Manhasset typically report crime rates below 10 incidents per 1,000 residents per year, offering safer access to shops. Choose properties east of Community Drive for the quickest, best-lit walks.
- Request an upper-floor, rear-facing room to reduce noise from the LIRR Port Washington Line, where trains on track-side rooms can reach 65-70 dB during rush hours. Ask about window soundproofing if you're sensitive to noise.
- Include Manhasset’s ZIP code 11030 when searching for rates to access local promotions, as some chains offer 5-10% off versus broader 'Long Island' filters. Enter the code in the promo or search field for best results.
- If booking a hotel built before 1980, verify elevator or ground-floor room availability, since 60% lack step-free access. Call ahead for confirmation if accessible features are essential for your stay.
- Confirm 200+ Mbps fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available with the front desk before check-in if reliable remote work is critical, as only 35% of Manhasset hotels list fiber. Ask if Wi-Fi is included in your rate or incurs an extra fee.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) when offered at hotel front desks, since converting USD charges to your home currency can increase your final cost by 4-5%. Always choose to pay in USD for the lowest rate.
- Avoid booking hotel stays during New York Fashion Week (Feb/Sept) and Nassau County bar exam weeks (Feb/July), as nightly rates can spike 25-35%. Check major event calendars for potential overlaps before reserving.
- Carry a reusable water bottle, as Manhasset tap water meets EPA standards and is safe to drink, saving you $4 to $6 daily on bottled water. Confirm with hotel staff if filtered water stations are available onsite.
- Tip housekeeping $2-$5 per night by leaving a single note with the total tip at check-in, since staff may rotate floors in Nassau County hotels. U.S. custom encourages tipping daily or as a lump sum on arrival.
- Choose hotels within walking distance of the LIRR Port Washington Line for 28-34 minute off-peak train rides to Penn Station, with reliable seat availability. Review LIRR schedules for the fastest departure times.
