Absolutely the best hotel ! Staff is so friendly and AMERICAN. They remember their returning guests and treat them as family. Rooms are spotless, breakfast is hot and plentiful. I had 2 very minor issues in the bathroom, and they were fixed immediately.

The hotel has a nice small sitting area with a fireplace where our group got together and socialized for the evening. Also, liked that the pool/hot tub was open until 11 on the weekend.

The location. Close to the park on the straits and an easy walk to downtown. Also love the 84? pool. Even on a cool cloudy day in the fall it is very enjoyable.

The lights attracted millions of bugs and when you opened the door you rooms was filled with them. Spent 30 minutes killing them as they were all over the walls, bed, clothes and suitcases.

Older, mostly quiet and respectful guests. Minimal door slamming, pounding, loud vehicles.
