This Mackinaw hotel has a children’s playground and a seasonal (mid-May to mid-October) indoor pool. Free shuttle services to the Mackinac Island ferry services are also provided. Rooms at the Thunderbird Inn of Mackinaw City are furnished with refrigerators and complimentary WiFi. Some rooms include a flat-screen TV. A daily breakfast is served every morning at this Thunderbird Inn. The hotel has a number of helpful services, including guest laundry and a 24-hour front desk. - One of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in, absolutely spotless.
- Proximity and ammenities
- Location and ability to sit outside the room and chat with others
Cons -
- Recommend upstairs room, the family above us sounded like they were stomping across the room all night.
- Lots of bugs in the room
- No continental breakfast, pool or hot tub they had on prior visit. Hot tub at adjoining hotel was down and so we could not use. Microwave would be nice even if we had to go to lobby to use
