I like that it was located directly next door to a better hotel with clubs & casino!
Location and the staff. Everyone was so kind and caring.
Location to the Baha Mar for tournament. Loved the "strong" drinks, beautiful beach, comfortable room with great views from almost all rooms! Many chairs for lounging, activities by entertainment throughout day, and food stand by pool with good food!

This hotel was very clean and right on the beach. The waterpark area is great for kids and families. Having and adults only swim area away from the waterpark was great to have a little quite time and relaxation.
ALL ROOMS FACE THE.OCEAN. Cruise ships do 180 spins right in front of the room before backing into its dock. (Mostly out of view.)

I come to the Atlantis to escape stressors of work life and float aimlessly for days on the amazing lazy/rapids river. But the staff from check in, to life guards, to room cleaning are all very welcoming and beyond courteous.
Very friendly staff, clean, well maintained.
The beach areas and the pools and slides. The grounds were beautiful!!

Been coming here for 25 plus years. Property is deteriorating and although staff is sometimes better with customer service, some ¿policies¿ are hard to overcome and not in line with other resorts at this price point.
The location was on the best beach at the resort.

The customer service
This hotel was everything you would be looking for with a trip to Atlantis without the hefty price tag.
The hotel is in a very convenient spot. You can get to most places without having to take a taxi.

Had two pools maintenacnce kept the landscape up.
Other than being somewhat close to harbour side, the marina everything was bad
The location is a short walk away from the marina area, where there are a lot of restaurants. We also loved how quiet the hotel was. It gives a very personable and chill vibes. The staff was very friendly and responsive when we needed something.

Top Tips
- Taxis from Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) offer direct transfers to Nassau hotels, with fares averaging 32 BSD to Cable Beach and up to 38 BSD for downtown. Journeys typically take 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Confirm fare before entering and check if card payment is accepted, as cash is standard. For travelers with accessibility needs, ask for step-free vehicle options when booking.
- Explore authentic Bahamian cuisine at local restaurants or conch shacks, where fresh seafood lunches range from 15-25 BSD per person. Many venues are family-friendly and vegetarian options are increasingly available. For dietary or allergy concerns, call ahead to confirm menu details and reservation policies.
- Jitney buses run along main routes in Nassau for 1.25 BSD per ride, offering an economical way to reach downtown, Cable Beach, and Paradise Island until around 18:00. Fares are cash-only, and schedules can vary on weekends or holidays, so verify the latest route times before planning your trip. Note: Not all buses have ramp access - contact operators in advance for accessible options.
- Daily flights from NAS connect Nassau to islands like Exuma or Eleuthera, with round-trip fares typically starting from 150 BSD and flight times under an hour. For smooth travel, book morning departures and carry a valid photo ID. Some inter-island carriers enforce baggage limits - confirm allowance during booking.
- Resort fees at Nassau hotels range from 20-50 BSD per day and may include Wi-Fi, fitness center, or use of non-motorized watersports equipment. Request a breakdown of what’s covered when booking to avoid surprise charges, and clarify any inclusions for accessible amenities if needed.
- Many hotels offer shuttle services for airport transfers or local sites; schedules may be fixed or require advance booking. Verify shuttle availability, potential fees, and if vehicles have step-free access, especially during high season or after 20:00.
