I?m sorry I don?t remember his name but the guy that checked us in was awesome. We had an issue with the toilet in the room we got. Called him and he immediately got us moved bringing the keys to us instead of having us come down to the front counter.

The location was great, but they screwed up and double charged me and then never fixed it and I'm having to deal with the credit card company now and the stupid hotel is trying to keep the extra $200 a double charged me for. Unbelievable pathetic!

We stayed here once before, a little over 4 years ago when we were on our wedding trip and it was brand new then and was great. We came back this time because we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. I will recommended time and time again.

Top Tips
- Book your hotel well in advance, especially during peak travel seasons like the Little Rock Marathon or Arkansas State Fair, to secure better rates and availability. The Arkansas State Fair draws over 400,000 attendees each year, so booking 4-8 weeks early improves your chance of getting a hotel within 2 miles of the airport.
- Compare recent guest reviews from the past 90 days for cleanliness, shuttle reliability, and safety. Look for comments mentioning traffic or train noise, as hotel proximity to I-440 and local rail lines may impact sleep quality.
- Select free-cancellation rates if your travel plans may change. Booking directly with the hotel enables you to use loyalty points or ask about early check-in or late check-out.
- Confirm complimentary airport shuttle availability, hours, and pickup procedures with your hotel. Key hotels like the Holiday Inn Airport and Comfort Inn & Suites offer 24-hour shuttles, but check directly for up-to-date schedules before your stay.
- Plan transportation by noting that downtown Little Rock is 7-10 minutes by car from the airport. Uber, Lyft, and taxis provide reasonable wait times, with typical fares to the city center ranging from $15 to $20; verify current rates before booking your ride.
- Know check-in rules: most hotels near the airport accept guests aged 18+ with valid government-issued ID (such as a U.S. driver license or passport) and a credit or debit card. Some extended-stay brands may require guests to be 21+; confirm your hotel's policy before arrival.
- Understand local taxes and fees: state lodging tax is 6.5%, city hotel tax is 2-3%, and facility or parking fees commonly add $15 to $25 per night. Request an itemized bill at booking to avoid surprises.
- Follow U.S. tipping norms: housekeeping staff typically receive $2-$5 per day (leave daily), bell staff $1-$2 per bag, valet $3-$5 on retrieval, and concierge $5-$10 for substantial help. Cash is customary, but some hotels allow tips by card or app; international visitors should note that U.S. tipping practices differ from many countries.
- Use hotel safes for passports, extra cash, and electronics, and engage the door deadbolts. Ask front desk staff for the safest routes for walking and information about areas to avoid after dark.
- Call ahead for special requests like connecting rooms, cribs, or early check-in. Hotels are more likely to accommodate these needs with advance notice.
- Families should ask about family suites or rooms with kitchenettes for added space and meal preparation. Many airport hotels in Little Rock offer indoor pools and complimentary breakfasts; confirm pool hours, lifeguard availability, and extra-child charges, as these may vary seasonally.
- Solo travelers can request a room on a higher floor for improved safety and quiet, ideally near but not directly next to the elevator.
- If traveling with pets, confirm the hotel's pet policy, including weight limits, number of pets allowed, and cleaning fees. Major brands like Hilton Garden Inn and La Quinta outline their pet policies online, and pet relief areas are available near the airport—verify exact locations if you need them.
- Most hotels prohibit indoor smoking and may charge cleaning fees of $15 or more for violations. Ask the front desk about specific non-smoking and cannabis policies to avoid fines.
- Check the hotel's website or call to confirm current COVID-19 or other health protocols, including mask, testing, vaccination, or cleaning policies. While mask rules have eased, some chains still require face coverings in public spaces or during outbreaks; for updates, review CDC or local Arkansas health department guidance.
- Ask the concierge or front desk for reservations or tickets to top sites like the Clinton Presidential Center. Discover local cuisine with shuttle access or by walking to BBQ and Southern food spots within 1 mile, such as Sims BBQ or Three Fold Noodle.
- Confirm complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi speeds, gym hours, laundry, and parking before booking, especially if you need these amenities for your stay or remote work. Amenity hours and availability may change by season.
- If you have accessibility needs, request ADA-compliant rooms and reconfirm features such as step-free entry, visual alarms, and roll-in showers. Top airport hotels like Hilton, Marriott, and Holiday Inn list these features—contact the property directly to ensure your requirements are met.
- Protect valuables by using your in-room safe and not leaving items visible in a parked car, even in hotel lots. Opportunistic theft can occur, so keep belongings secured at all times.
- For last-minute deals, check offers from hotels directly and use apps like HotelTonight, but always compare final prices after all taxes and fees.
