Nothing. The staff during both the. Night shift and morning shift target customers for additional charges that are not imposed with fairness - but instead reflect underlying opportunism and deceptive business enterprise

Cleanliness was the best I've seen in a hotel ever. I didn't see any bugs or insects, dead or alive. an you can trust you can sleep in the sheets because they were most likely laundered after they were used by the last guest.

Top Tips
- Book your hotel room at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance for better availability and rates, since hotels near Dallas Love Field fill quickly during busy business weekends, the Texas State Fair, or Dallas Cowboys games.
- Confirm the exact total cost, including occupancy and local taxes (typically 6-9%) plus any daily resort or parking fees, with the hotel before you reserve. Ask for a breakdown of all fees at booking for full clarity, as Dallas charges often include both city and county taxes.
- Read recent guest reviews from the last 6 to 12 months focusing on noise levels, safety, shuttle reliability, and cleanliness to get current insights. Verify on reputable platforms like Expedia, Google, or Priceline.
- Choose flexible rates or book refundable rooms if your flight plans are uncertain. Flexible rates at major chains like Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt usually allow cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for booking; U.S. hotels typically require both for check-in and a pre-authorization on incidentals. Debit cards are often accepted, but hotel policies vary, so confirm in advance.
- Ask about airport shuttle service and timing upon arrival, as many hotels near Love Field offer complimentary or scheduled shuttles. For early or late arrivals, verify shuttle hours since some services pause between midnight and 5 AM.
- Request a specific room location to minimize noise, such as a higher floor away from roads, elevators, or rooftop bars. Many Dallas hotels offer high-floor or courtyard-facing rooms designed to reduce aircraft and road noise.
- Expect to use rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) or hotel shuttles for most trips near Love Field, as direct public rail service is limited. DART buses 524 and 31 connect the area to downtown Dallas; verify schedule and route before travel.
- Confirm parking costs and policies before arrival, as many Dallas hotels charge for self-parking or valet. Expect daily parking rates to range from $15 to $25, and many hotels only offer valet parking.
- Follow standard U.S. hotel tipping etiquette for urban Texas hotels: bellhops are typically tipped $1-$2 per bag, housekeeping $2-$5 per night, and valet $2-$5 when your car is returned.
- Respect quiet hours in Dallas hotels, typically 10 PM to 7 AM, and adhere to non-smoking policies common throughout the city. This supports a family- and business-friendly environment for all guests.
- Check current COVID-19 and health policies directly with your hotel 48 hours before arrival, as Dallas citywide mandates and hotel-specific rules can change quickly. Review policies on masking, cleaning, or amenity access on the hotel's website or by phone.
- Know Dallas ID and credit requirements: hotels usually require a photo ID and a credit card for deposit or incidentals, even if paying cash. Prepaid or gift cards may be refused for deposits; always confirm in advance.
- Choose hotels in well-lit, busy neighborhoods like Uptown, Oak Lawn, or the West End for convenience to Love Field and generally safer tourist areas. Examples include the Warwick Melrose or Magnolia Hotel in Uptown.
- Be cautious with valuables by using the in-room safe or hotel's safe deposit box for passports, cash, and electronics. Top chains like Hilton, Marriott, and IHG provide in-room safes; if not listed, ask at check-in.
- Confirm Wi-Fi speeds and business services, such as free high-speed internet and access to printing or meeting rooms, if you need to work during your stay. Most hotels list Wi-Fi speeds; request specifics—50 Mbps or higher is considered fast.
- Ask about family-friendly amenities like cribs, rollaway beds, adjoining rooms, child pool hours, or kids' menus, which are often free or available for a small fee with advance notice. Cribs are typically provided on request at no extra charge, and child pool hours usually run from 8 AM to 8 PM.
- If driving, plan for Dallas traffic—rush hours are roughly 7-9 AM and 4-7 PM, which can add significant travel time. Expect a typical 15 to 30 minute drive from Love Field to downtown Dallas during rush hour.
- Confirm pet policies ahead of time, since many Dallas hotels are pet-friendly but charge fees. Pet fees generally range from $35 to $100 per stay, and many properties limit guests to two animals under 50 lbs each.
- Ask hotel staff for authentic local recommendations, such as Pecan Lodge for barbecue or The Rustic for live music. Concierge teams can also suggest unique Dallas experiences and directions to popular sites like Reunion Tower.
- Solo travelers should pick a busy hotel in a central neighborhood with a 24/7 front desk and good reviews. Consider requesting a mid-level floor (3rd to 6th) for a balance of safety and quiet.
- Families should reserve connecting rooms or suites and confirm kid-friendly services like pools, included breakfast, or proximity to the Perot Museum. Book suites early, as many Dallas chains offer discounted upgrades for connected rooms.
- Business guests can request a quiet room, early breakfast options, and business center access. Top business hotels near Love Field, like Hilton Dallas Love Field, offer 24-hour business centers and expedited Wi-Fi for loyalty members.
