I was totally disappointed, the pictures show a super clean and bright rooms but they are dark and dull, the carpets are old and outdated. I was given a free upgrade that I never asked for and I was not told , and then charge the extra for the upgrade
The staffs are friendly and willing to help.
The hotel room was inexpensive and large

Top Tips
- Book your room 6 to 12 weeks in advance for major Adelaide festivals from late February to March. Events like Adelaide Fringe and WOMADelaide often push central CBD hotels toward sellout, so early booking ensures greater room choice and price stability.
- Travel from Adelaide Airport to the CBD takes about 20 to 30 minutes by taxi or Uber (AUD $35 to $55, approx. $23 to $36 USD), or 25 to 35 minutes by JetExpress 747 bus (approx. AUD $6 to $8, or $4 to $5 USD; verify current fare). Most major hotels offer assistance with transfers, so check at booking if you need advance arrangements or shuttle service.
- Confirm your hotel room has working air conditioning for December to February stays. January temperatures in Adelaide average 29 to 30°C, with heatwaves above 40°C possible, so check with the hotel if temperature control is important for your comfort.
- Expect a credit-card pre-authorization hold at check-in, typically AUD $50 to $200 (approx. $33 to $133 USD) depending on hotel and stay length. Ask about the specific amount and release timing before checkout to avoid surprises.
- When paying, decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) at hotel terminals and opt to be charged in Australian dollars (AUD). This helps avoid higher conversion margins that can increase your bill by 3 to 5 percent.
- Tipping is not expected in Australia, and a tip of up to 10 percent is reserved for exceptional table service only. Hotels do not add mandatory service charges.
- Choose hotels within Adelaide’s compact CBD (about 1 km by 1 km) to reach key museums, Rundle Mall, and North Terrace in 5 to 20 minutes on foot. Many top hotels are located on or near these main streets for quick access, and several offer maps or walking guides at arrival.
- If seeking a quiet stay on weekends, avoid booking rooms directly on Hindley Street or in the Rundle East End. Nightlife venues in these areas operate until 1 to 3 AM Friday and Saturday, increasing street noise; alternatively, request a higher-floor or courtyard-facing room within these districts for less disturbance.
- For a reliable seaside outing, take the Glenelg tram from the CBD, which runs every 10 to 30 minutes and reaches Glenelg Beach in about 27 to 30 minutes. Plan ahead during weekends and holidays, as trams may be busier, and check if your hotel offers late checkout or luggage storage for convenience.
- Tap water in Adelaide is treated and safe to drink. If you are sensitive to chlorine or mineral taste, ask your hotel for filtered or bottled water—many hotels provide complimentary bottles in-room or upon request, and public refill stations may be available for sustainability.
