The hotel itself had friendly staff, a tidy room and a comfy bed which is what I wanted and needed after a big day. First impression- more budget than I had expected. Ive stayed in nicer motels. But I've stayed in worse 'hotels'. Directions lead to the main street entrance off king william street but there is a loading zone to unload. (10 mins). Better entrance around the corner in Toms CT off Halifax. Parking: Not the best. offsite, 4min walk- not far at all. Definately better with a smaller car. If you're parking is on the upper level, it's a very low clearance. You need to book in prior to get a swipe card and have to drop it back off after you check out. Took us a bit to find our parking. It's mixed with people who live in the units. Room was tidy and spacious. Small shower and toilet. Comfy bed, good shower pressure. Single use toiletries available. No food available on site or in my room. Only a small vending machine in the foyer. I was hanging out for water!. Tea and a coffee machine with pods available and a small milk in the fridge. It was ok to stay in. Probably won't be back though.

Unable to turn down aircon to lower fan speed. Had to turn it off overnight.
Big turn off. Our room joined to the neighbours and the joining doors can't be locked. Mine opened straight away and I could open their door too! There potentially was something blocking their side. I heard a gasp when I opened their door so didn't push it. But if they wanted to, they could walk straight into my room.
