I loved the rooftop bar and pool. It?s rare that you find this type of thing in a suburban Marriott. Also.?the decor was beautiful! I heard that it is privately owned and the owner went above and beyond creating a beautiful and inviting place.

Nice place to stay good location. My only thing would be our room placement and I know someone has to end up with those rooms but it was on the first floor right at the top of the ramp. Unable to open front shades without everyone looking right in.

I felt safe. They are taking a lot of covid 19 precautions so I felt safe that my family wasn't going to catch it there. The staff were all very kind and willing to help with anything. Qdx,
I have stayed at other 4 and 5 star hotels in the past but i must say that if you are to consider the room rate against the comfort of the rooms and hotel overall it was probably the best place i have ever stayed.

Top Tips
- Book your Hilton Head hotel at least 60 days in advance for the RBC Heritage tournament (mid-April), and reserve summer stays 3 to 6 months ahead to avoid 30-100% rate increases or sellouts. For added flexibility, choose refundable rates or set a reminder for key booking windows.
- Driving from Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) to most Hilton Head hotels takes 35-50 minutes and covers around 35-40 miles; allow extra time for weekend or holiday traffic. Check if your hotel offers a shuttle service to simplify your arrival.
- Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and storms peak in August and September. Confirm your hotel's named-storm cancellation policy and consider refundable rates or travel insurance for added security.
- Explore Hilton Head’s 60 miles of multi-use trails by bike to reduce parking and traffic time; main routes connect Coligny, Shelter Cove, and Sea Pines. Request secure onsite bike storage in advance if you plan frequent cycling.
- Sea-turtle nesting season (May-October) brings local lighting restrictions and some beach access limits. Verify your property's lighting policy if you require exterior lights or late beach access, and follow posted conservation rules.
- Parking policies differ widely at Hilton Head resorts, inns, and rentals. Review your hotel or booking platform for nightly self-park or valet costs and factor in any fees, such as $15 per night, when comparing total stay prices.
- Select your Hilton Head neighborhood by priority: Coligny and Shelter Cove enable short walks to dining and Coligny Beach Park, while Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes highlight resort golf and wider beaches. If you prefer car-free movement, confirm shuttle or bike path options in advance.
- If remote work is essential, major-brand hotels (like Marriott, Westin, Hilton) typically offer enhanced business Wi-Fi tiers. Request upgraded Wi-Fi speeds or a room away from conference areas before arrival.
- Many vacation rental cottages and older condos on Hilton Head were built before current accessibility standards. Request explicit confirmation of features like step-free entry, elevator access, or roll-in showers if mobility accommodations are needed.
