Very nice polite and helpful staff.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The free coffee is good.
Price is the main factor, the lobby coffee is the next one. We chose this one because it was a primarily a business trip. The room was very basic. Bed, shower, desk area, and a tv.

Room was wonderful! The bar appitizers and drinks were NOT pricey!! The bartender was pleasant and when asked, directed us to really nice local winery! While we didn't try the courtyard it looked appealing. Hotel was priced right!

Breakfast, great shower
Cleanliness, and the Amazing staff. Breakfast gets 10stars gets. Will definitely give great reviews, about HolidayInn Express....
I enjoyed continental breakfast ending later than most hotels. I like how checkout is at 11am. This allowed us enough to rest in a little later, grab breakfast, and be on our way! I don’t like being rushed, especially in the mornings.

Top Tips
- Book hotels 2-6 weeks ahead for summer weekend events like TinCaps home games (April-September) or the Three Rivers Festival (late June) to secure rooms and avoid tighter inventory and higher rates.
- Opt for downtown hotels for a 2-10 minute walk (0.1-0.5 mi) to Parkview Field and the Grand Wayne Convention Center, cutting transit time and rideshare costs on event nights.
- Plan for a rideshare or rental car from Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) as public transit options are limited. FWA is roughly 12 miles (about 18-25 minutes) to downtown, with rideshares costing approximately $25-$35 USD one way.
- Confirm parking policy when booking, as many suburban hotels along Coliseum Blvd include free parking, while downtown properties and public garages frequently charge ($15-$25 USD/day for metered garages or hotel valet/lot fees).
- Choose midscale chains like Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, or Fairfield/Drury for consistent free hot breakfast, which is useful on downtown event days when restaurants fill quickly.
- If you need reliable work bandwidth, request a business-class room or conference-floor placement and ask the hotel to confirm upload/download Mbps before booking, as hotel Wi-Fi can vary by property and event.
- Verify the pet policy and fees per property, as many Fort Wayne properties accept pets but impose per-night fees and weight/breed caps; confirm pet fee, deposit, and maximum stays when reserving to avoid surprise charges.
