Pros +
- The room was nice and a good size, I liked the layout.
- Room was clean. Rooftop bar was nice. Overlooked the stadium. If ever back through Fort Wayne I will stay there again. For not having valet parking the parking garage is not an issue. There is a short covered walk way connecting the Hampton.
- Sweet check in but slow.
Cons -
- When I checked in I wasn't provided the same warn welcome as the two young ladies in front of me. They were told about every amenity that the hotel had to offer, where the parking garage was and how to get the parking validated, also that the "gym was open 24 hrs if they couldn't sleep." However, when I got to the counter, she asked my name, if I had identification, and showed me where the elevator was. I had to inquire about where the parking garage was. There was a clear difference in the service that I received. It was a disappointing experience. I'm not sure that I would stay again. She shouldn't be the semi pleasant face anyone should see. I'm sorry, certain people should see. I'll probably spend my 275/night somewhere else if I return.
