The location was close to the location I was going
There was nothing to like about this hotel. There were locals living within the hotel. They served breakfast in a bag. The room was not clean. The refrigerator was dirty, the curtains were dirty and missing a drape, the doors would not completely close.

The beds were comfortable. It seems a minor renovation is taking place which is needed.
When I travel from St. Louis to Indianola Mississippi, it’s the best place to stay. The ladies are very courteous. I visit for the blues festival in Greenville. Everything is in walking distance if you don’t want to drive to go shopping

Top Tips
- Book your Cleveland hotel at least 3-6 weeks in advance for high-demand weekends, including Delta State University home games or Grammy Museum Mississippi events. Limited local hotel supply fills up faster than larger cities, often leaving only outlying motels as alternatives.
- Choose a hotel within 0.2-0.6 miles of the Grammy Museum Mississippi for a 5-12 minute walk to the museum, downtown dining, and Delta State University event sites. Many hotels in this area offer complimentary breakfast and accessible facilities, reducing driving and parking needs.
- Fly into Memphis International Airport (MEM), which offers the most daily flight and car rental options. Expect a 75-90 mile (1.25-1.5 hour) drive to Cleveland, and plan for a rental car, as local public transit is limited. Accessible car rentals and straightforward highway routes are available; confirm hotel parking or potential shuttle service in advance.
- If you need mobility support or step-free access, request a ground-floor room or confirm elevator availability before you book. Contact your hotel to verify accessible parking, visual alarms, or roll-in showers; major hotel chains may offer accessible rooms with these features upon request.
- Check onsite dining or nearby restaurant hours before arrival, as downtown Cleveland dining frequently closes by 8-9 PM. For late arrivals, prepare snacks or use in-room amenities like microwaves and mini-fridges, or locate local convenience stores or hotel market pantries in advance.
- Prioritize rooms with functioning air conditioning and window screens or internal corridors, as the Mississippi Delta has high mosquito activity from late spring to early fall. Ask your hotel about seasonal mosquito control measures for added protection.
- Verify advertised Wi-Fi speeds or bring a mobile hotspot if you require reliable remote work connectivity. Some properties offer business centers or lobby Wi-Fi with a stronger signal; check with the front desk for workspace options.
