I?ve also stayed at Residence Inns in Tulsa, Ok, and Rogers, AR. They were both good, and the staff at Rogers were nice, but this one in Olathe is my favorite, especially the staff! They were so friendly, and the hotel itself felt the most homey. Love it!

Nothing but the location
Front desk representative is the main reason I didn't switch hotels. She had a very loving demeanor and treated my dog and I with such respect. The picky side of me didn't care for the cleanliness of the room or hallway.

Top Tips
- Hotels along I-35 near W 119th St are approximately 5-10 minutes from downtown Olathe services, offering quick access to workplaces such as Garmin HQ and shopping at Olathe Station.
- Book your Olathe hotel 2-4 weeks ahead when attending New Century AirCenter event weekends, such as air shows or trade expos, as increased demand often raises local hotel occupancy. Check the AirCenter events calendar online for upcoming schedules.
- Rent a car for reliable mobility in Olathe; public transit (Johnson County Transit 'The JO') has limited fixed routes and service gaps evenings and weekends. If you do not have a car, consider using rideshare or taxi services for flexible local connections.
- Select hotels on the I-35 / W 119th corridor to stay within 1-3 miles (5-10 minute drive) of Olathe Health (Olathe Medical Center). Ask if medical rates or shuttle services for hospital guests are available at your chosen hotel.
- Most Olathe chain hotels provide complimentary on-site surface parking for guests. If traveling with oversized vehicles, booking for a conference, or needing EV charging, verify parking and charging policies directly with the hotel.
- Choose business-branded chains like Hampton or Courtyard for dependable workspaces and meeting rooms; call ahead to confirm wired Ethernet or reserve a private meeting room for video calls. Early inquiry is recommended during event weekends, as availability varies.
- Refer to the Olathe Public Schools (USD 233) event calendar to avoid weekend price surges. Typical rate increases occur during graduations or sports tournaments, so booking 1-2 weeks earlier may secure better rates.
- Confirm accessible/ADA room details at booking, as features like roll-in showers can vary. Request step-free access or available onsite accessibility aids when needed, and verify room specifics by phone 48-72 hours before arrival.
- Olathe hotels use potable municipal water. For severe allergies or sterilization concerns, check when the hotel last performed a deep cleaning or ask about branded hypoallergenic bedding or certified allergy-friendly room options at larger chains.
