Welcome to the Quality Inn Athens
Free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool, plus a complimentary breakfast buffet, prompt Priceline guests to come back to the Quality Inn Athens.
The two-story hotel provides 56 traditionally furnished rooms that feature microwaves and refrigerators, handy for snacks, leftovers and whatever else you like to keep on hand. In addition, rooms come standard with complimentary Wi-Fi and premium cable TV with pay-per-view movies; you'll have coffeemakers and hairdryers, too. Coffee, tea, cookies and the newspaper are always on hand in the lobby, which is where you'll find the complimentary breakfast buffet, featuring items like eggs, sausage and waffles. Additional amenities include a business center and a coin laundry.
The Quality Inn, right off of I-65 midway between Nashville and Birmingham, is three miles from the Athens historic district, which offers many examples of antebellum architecture. It's also three miles from Athens State University, home to the annual Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention. It's 18 miles to Huntsville International Airport.

We arrived around before midnight and it was almost one AM when we got into our room. The smell in the room made us wish we had brought a can of Febreeze. Gladly we left early morning.
