We loved our stay at Hotel Nikko. The room was much larger than expected and very comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned the room and made the bed daily, which is no longer standard in many hotels — a big plus. Breakfast was excellent with high-quality food and a great selection. The service team was extremely attentive and professional.

If you’re a solo traveler, this is the ideal place for you!! You’ll meet lots of people! The staff is so helpful and incredibly nice which made the stay even better overall. The hostel couldn’t be located better, you’re close to so many things to see. The rooms are nice and comfy and you have sockets next to the bed and if you’re in the upper bed, you have a sort of plastic box where you can put your phone while it charges during the night, which is highly convenient. Overall, a great place to stay!! Would definitely book it again in the future !!
Awesome location, with a lot of cool bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast is actually good and filling. They have a range of recommendations about the city, which is pretty cool. I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Easy access by bus

Everything was great. Ahmed is great host. I got uprade of my room for free. He kooks for everyone on Tuesday. The people I made the were fantastic. We karaoke on the rooftop until 1 am. The location is excellent.

One of the best boutique hotels I ever stayed.
Beautiful building, good location.
The property was fantastic, gorgeous common areas and rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent bath tub (bathroom in general), and extremely kind and attentive staff. Parking was easy (expensive, but it's downtown SF -- I was happy to have a secure spot). Great value for the price, I would have expected to pay 50-100% more for a hotel like this downtown. Not much on the block, but it's a good central location nonetheless -- you're a short walk from Japan Town or Filmore, a mid-length walk from Chinatown / north beach or the museums, and a quick bus or cab from the park, Haight, the Mission, etc. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for 3 nights and the room had great views of the street. There's coffee or tea always available at the lobby, as well as water and apples or cookies. Staff are very nice and welcoming. We had a great time at the hotel.

Rooms was nice and was quiet… bed was very comfortable. Public transportation is 200 feet away… very convenient to us the bus and trains.

Communication was exceptional regarding check in, code access, and readiness of room since we arrived early. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our stay. We walked to the park, brunch, the pink ladies tourist area, and even grabbed some things from Trader Joe's just down the street. Would highly recommend anyone needing a place to stay while in the city.

The location was fantastic and the hotel was extremely well maintained and clean. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I also greatly appreciated that as a hotel in modern times they weren't nickel and diming us over every single little thing.

The Rooms are nice, Staff is wonderful and always helpful. Concierge team is excellent!! Location is great and you feel in the middle of the city. Some good restaurants are nearby which makes it easy on food choices. Breakfast was decent.
Room was great except for a fire sprinkler making a buzzing noise in the middle of the night. We really enjoyed Alvin at the bar. Hostesses and front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Rooms was nice and was quiet… bed was very comfortable. Public transportation is 200 feet away… very convenient to us the bus and trains.

One of the best boutique hotels I ever stayed.
Beautiful building, good location.
The property was fantastic, gorgeous common areas and rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent bath tub (bathroom in general), and extremely kind and attentive staff. Parking was easy (expensive, but it's downtown SF -- I was happy to have a secure spot). Great value for the price, I would have expected to pay 50-100% more for a hotel like this downtown. Not much on the block, but it's a good central location nonetheless -- you're a short walk from Japan Town or Filmore, a mid-length walk from Chinatown / north beach or the museums, and a quick bus or cab from the park, Haight, the Mission, etc. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Central location in Chinatown and North Beach (Little Italy) and much within walking distance including great coffee shops. Room was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. We were on a layover in SF for the day travelling from Asia and this was the perfect place to crash that eve before your early AM flight. Loved the 24 hr front desk as it was easy for us to check out as 4:30am. Property was easy to take the BART train line to from SFO airport and easy to grab a Lyft in the AM. Would recommend!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was lovely, clean, big and really comfortable. We got a last minute discounted upgrade and opened the curtains in the morning to a view of Alcatraz! Great location just 10mins from Pier 39 and 5mins from the Powell-Hyde cable car. Happy hour beer/wine was a lovely touch. Loved staying here, definitely recommend.

This hôtel has tons of charm and the rooms were veey quiet, comfortable, if a bit small. There were a lot of showers with nice hot water and all amenities, shampoo, showere gel, clean towels, pads, hairdryers, we never had to wait. The location is perfect, there is a great supermarket 3mn away. Great value compared other hôtels in SF and good cafs nearby!

Great location. Walking distance to public transit and many restaurants and coffee shops. We chose this hotel due to the proximity to Punchline comedy club.Everything in the hotel looked very high-end and luxury. The elevators are spacious, quiet, and very fast. They have water filter stations on every floor to refill water bottles for free. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and stocked.

One of the best boutique hotels I ever stayed.
Beautiful building, good location.
The property was fantastic, gorgeous common areas and rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent bath tub (bathroom in general), and extremely kind and attentive staff. Parking was easy (expensive, but it's downtown SF -- I was happy to have a secure spot). Great value for the price, I would have expected to pay 50-100% more for a hotel like this downtown. Not much on the block, but it's a good central location nonetheless -- you're a short walk from Japan Town or Filmore, a mid-length walk from Chinatown / north beach or the museums, and a quick bus or cab from the park, Haight, the Mission, etc. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

One of the best boutique hotels I ever stayed.
Beautiful building, good location.
The property was fantastic, gorgeous common areas and rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent bath tub (bathroom in general), and extremely kind and attentive staff. Parking was easy (expensive, but it's downtown SF -- I was happy to have a secure spot). Great value for the price, I would have expected to pay 50-100% more for a hotel like this downtown. Not much on the block, but it's a good central location nonetheless -- you're a short walk from Japan Town or Filmore, a mid-length walk from Chinatown / north beach or the museums, and a quick bus or cab from the park, Haight, the Mission, etc. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

It is good hotel at a good location . The rooms are comfortable size . Please note the rooms don’t have AC it’s just heater or fan . Bathrooms could have been better size . Kitchen facilities are very good . The room housekeeping services can be better . Overall pleasant experience the front office staff was very cooperative.

The location is great.The view was terrific. Having an apartment with a kitchen and a common area was great for our group. The rooms were clean. The furniture is not exacly new but it is not too tired. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms was nice and was quiet… bed was very comfortable. Public transportation is 200 feet away… very convenient to us the bus and trains.
The location is fantastic, the beds are super comfortable, the staff are really nice to work with, the gardens are beautiful, the coffee is plentiful, I always stay here.

Everything was great. Ahmed is great host. I got uprade of my room for free. He kooks for everyone on Tuesday. The people I made the were fantastic. We karaoke on the rooftop until 1 am. The location is excellent.

The location was fantastic and the hotel was extremely well maintained and clean. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I also greatly appreciated that as a hotel in modern times they weren't nickel and diming us over every single little thing.

The room was a superior suite as advertised. Parking was available in a nearby garage. This hotel is right across the street from the San Francisco Opera House, which is why we chose it. It is like a small European hotel, with 7 stories and one elevator. Staff was excellent and helped us connect to their WiFi, which took a lot of time.

The location is great.The view was terrific. Having an apartment with a kitchen and a common area was great for our group. The rooms were clean. The furniture is not exacly new but it is not too tired. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms was nice and was quiet… bed was very comfortable. Public transportation is 200 feet away… very convenient to us the bus and trains.

Everything was great. Ahmed is great host. I got uprade of my room for free. He kooks for everyone on Tuesday. The people I made the were fantastic. We karaoke on the rooftop until 1 am. The location is excellent.
