Location
Old and outdated. Balcony door wouldn't open, had to grease the track to make it somewhat doable for me to open. Mold in the bathroom, exhaust fan didn't work. W Hotel and rooms need to be updated

The view was beautiful we had an ocean balcony room
Yes i expect to have free coffee in the lobby. I was told they had starbucks but they had no decaf coffee. I was told i could make coffee in my room. I could make my own coffee at home. This was very dissappointing.

I liked how close it was to the beach. I love how the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would love to come back again and get an ocean view room.

Great location, great pool and Tiki bar, lovely rooms.
Just that there were too many chase lounges by the pool. shoved together so tightly you could not step between them to get to the center to sit down.

Hotel being centrally located is great. Can easily walk to most excursions and tourist attractions. Bathroom was very modern; loved the tile in tub and bathroom floor; small but nice (no bath tub in the room.) Had a white sliding door into the bathroom that looked much like a barn door style; very unique. There are great eating establishments right near by as well as stores, coffee shops and ice cream shops. Beautiful view of the river across the street. Transportation is readily available by shuttle if needed; you just need to call to set up your pick up. Hotel provides some maps of the area which we used a lot as well as other brochures. Price for room was expected due to location of the hotel being so convenient to everything. There is a cute little restaurant located right next to the hotel called Mary’s that offers breakfast and lunch. Room has all the amenities i.e. microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. However if you like fresh brewed coffee there is a coffee house just around the corner from the hotel that opens up around 7. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Was warned it might get noisy at night due to our location, but it was quite the opposite. As one lady said from the office, “if you can’t beat them, join them”. With all the bars and entertainment going on it is expected to get noisy especially on week end nights. But we did not experience anything that kept us awake at night.
Beds were not that comfortable; mattresses too firm for my liking. Had trouble the second day with my room card. It wouldn’t work. Had to have it re-program 3 times before it finally started working again. Thankfully the lady in charge of cleaning the rooms, helped me out getting problem resolved. The office staff was far from friendly. One particular lady looked like she was beat up the night before and was a bit shaky waiting on customers. Her whole complexion looked awful and it was worrisome at best. She would snap at you if you ask a question. When she spoke it was so low and difficult to hear her. She was not a good person to represent the hotel in my opinion and she checked us in. Believe me I started thinking maybe this hotel was a mistake to stay in. But as it turned out it became a positive experience. Wasn’t crazy about the pool. Very small and not very private. Biggest beef I have is the hotel parking is very small and they charge you 15.00 a night above your room rate. That wasn’t right. Paying such high prices to stay in the hotel should include at least one parking spot. I will probably not stay there again for that reason. Aside from that room was ok.
