Close proximity to La Aurora International airport and a good eating venue in a plaza three blocks from the hotel. When we had a hot-water problem, the staff responded quickly and professionally. Shuttle-driver was great.

The service provided by the staff. They all went above and beyond to accommodate small request. We had arrived early for check in and were able to accommodate by checking us in 2 hrs before and leave our belongings in the lobby. Food was amazing.

For first time travelers, it perfectly met the expectations of colonial Antigua. It was close to everything, romantic, and private. Even better was the amazingly friendly staff, including the local woman cooking a fresh, traditional breakfast.

I had a problem with the room, because it didn't have electricity at night, so they moved us to a "hotel" room that cost a lot more. But, then we had problems with ants - millions of them, but they came and sprayed, and that solved that problem.
Being in the jungle right in Tikal Park cannot be beat. I sat in a chair outside my room and watched parrots fly around chattering. Location is perfect.

This is a great hotel to visit Tikal. It is an eco resort so there are some restrictions and the rooms don't have air conditioner, but the fans work well. It is a very nice place, The prices in the restaurant are high.

The location being right next to the entrance to the ruins
Very clean, comfortable, easy access to the ruins, peaceful, nice staff. It is interesting that it runs on a generator due to its remote location. A new experience. Very hot in the day, but comfortable at night.
The hotel was conveniently located to Tikal National Park (but then so were the rest of the hotels in the area). I don't really know what I liked best about the Jaguar Inn. I found the wildlife intriguing, especially the large spider in the bathroom.

The beauty of the location on the water. All staff were helpful and friendly. Every meal was divine! Be aware that you cannot get there by road, but the water taxi from the hotel was easy enough to coordinate.
