The breakfast was great! Many options, good taste. We woke up to the smell of fresh bread, which was definitely a plus. We were worried that it would be too loud for sleep because our room was sandwiched between two hallways, but all was quiet.

The hotel was a good price since it was outside of the city. Very good breakfast served at the hotel and also the restaurant next door in viking style. All of the staff were great with helping us out to answer any questions and to navigate the city.

Location, location, location. The hotel is right downtown so everything worth seeing is within walking distance. The room was decent size and clean. The included breakfast was pretty good and with a decent variety of items, including fresh fruit.

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 4.3 mi to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants. The friendliness of the stuff!! The lady at the reception was very helpful with providing the latest road/weather updates. She clearly wanted everyone to stay safe as the weather wasn¿t great at the time and roads were closed going up north. Lovely hotel
