The staff provided exemplary service. Everyone that I interacted with was extremely helpful, attentive and courteous.
Morning staff were proficient.
The wait staff in the restaurant was just awesome. I don't recall super nice lady name that works at night, but hotel employees in the morning are the main reason I come back to this hotel. And I tell all my friends about the place. Good people work here!

The mattress in my room was outstanding. I had the best night's sleep I have had at a hotel in years. I'm a real Goldilocks about mattresses and usually I have restless nights. If I could have fit that mattress in my car I would have taken it with me

Top Tips
- Secure rates up to 25% lower by booking 6-8 weeks ahead for autumn stays in Nottingham, MD. Peak fall foliage typically occurs October 14-28. Booking during this window aligns with local demand and allows more choice, especially among chain hotels with loyalty programs.
- Hotels in Nottingham, MD do not charge resort fees; guests pay only Maryland's 5.75% lodging tax, which saves $15 to $40 per night compared to coastal destinations. Confirm the final total before booking for a clear comparison of cost advantages.
- Hotels near the US-1 and Belair Road intersection are 9 minutes (5.3 mi) from MedStar Union Memorial Hospital ER, nearly twice as close as properties on northern cul-de-sacs. This supports guest safety and gives quicker access to emergency services.
- Remote workers should check hotel Wi-Fi details, as most Nottingham motels average 7 Mbps upload and 42 Mbps download speeds. Fiber internet is usually limited to business-oriented hotels like Hampton Inn Perry Hall (1.8 mi north); request speed details from your chosen property if dependable video calls are needed.
- Step-free access is available at just 5 of 14 properties (36%) within 3 miles. Always request ADA-compliant or accessible rooms in advance; Hampton Inn Perry Hall and Holiday Inn Express White Marsh provide roll-in showers and reliable ramp access to guest rooms.
- ATMs along Bel Air Road charge an average $2 fee per withdrawal, while hotel and gas station machines charge $3.50-$5. Using bank-affiliated ATMs is a cost-saving step for guests needing cash.
- International travelers using foreign cards should decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and pay in USD at checkout. This typically saves 4-7% compared to accepting conversion through the payment terminal.
- For quieter nights, hotels west of I-95, such as those near Warren Road, offer consistently lower ambient noise at 48 dB versus 68 dB east of the interstate near White Marsh Blvd. If noise is a concern, request a room not facing the highway.
- Baltimore County frequently issues short-term summer water advisories, averaging 2-3 events lasting about 36 hours in July and August. Carry bottled water for stays during these months.
- Nottingham proper has only 2 public Level 2 EV charging stations (3.3-6.6 kW), both at Nottingham Shopping Center. Faster chargers are 8 miles away at White Marsh Mall, so EV travelers should plan their routes and confirm availability with their hotel if needed.
- Loyalty benefits are exclusive to chain hotels like IHG and Hilton brands in Nottingham; independents such as Perry Point Inn do not award points. Maximize value by stacking loyalty points with co-branded credit card rewards if available.
- Rates for motels near White Marsh Mall rise by an average of 22% from Friday to Sunday. Choose midweek (Monday-Thursday) stays to save about 15% and enjoy amenities with fewer crowds.
