Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

They keep the grounds beautiful and LOVE the different pools!

YES!!!".?..They control the temperature of your room.?.our room was 75-77 degrees everyday.?too hot for us and they wouldn?t change it unless you paid them money.

This is the third time for us to come here. We love this resort. The grounds are just lovely. The rooms are very comfortable. Room service could be a little better. I know these days it is hard to find good help. Wonderful experience.

The variety of activities, restaurants and staff!

I booked two rooms and we were put in separate buildings.

The service was fantastic we were met by bellboy on arrival he was ver friendly and helpful to us our entire trip Great bartender service from Polo at the hut on the beach by volleyball playing area he went above and beyond toon his service

The beach not very swim friendly

I enjoyed the food. They had a variety of places to go eat. Some better than others, but overall it was good.

I understand it¿s a tropical place but one of the rooms had a not so pleasant smell.

2nd visit. Resort is fantastic. Grounds are meticulously maintained and beautifully landscaped. Resort is immaculately clean. Food options are great, staff is super friendly and helpful. Very well run resort.

Beach is so-so, but the pools more than make up for it.

The ambience was amazing, very clean, and the rooms were spacious and very nice. Food at all places were great!

This place is meticulously maintained and beautifully landscaped. Everyone you meet is super friendly and clearly take great pride in their work. Best service we've ever experienced. Hotel is part of a 3 resort complex - be sure to explore all.

paid wifi was not so hot

Reservations for specialty restaurants were nearly impossible to get.

The night time entertainment was the best for an all inclusive resort. The pools were very clean. There were plenty of places to sit. The service was great.

It was impossible to get dining reservations and we tried right at check in.

There did not seem to be a lot of entertainment in the later part of the night. Everything seemed to end early.

the front door was awesome. He remembered our excursions and was helpful with directing our transportation.  our housekeeper was awesome! Bartenders were great; 

Some of the kitchen help were hard to understand. The pools and bars close way too early!!

Activities for adults as well as kids, variety of pools, free kayaking at the beach, food choices, hospitality of people working there.

It met all my expectations

The location is good. Hotell grounds are pristine. The hotel staff provides excellent service! Food is better than average - French is the best restaurant! All rooms have at least a partial ocean view with very comfortable beds!

Hotel nickel & dimes you on WiFi @$60/week - no public Wifi. Front desk immediately tries to sell you on the Platinum package, but, then gives you a room in Ventus (Platinum) Property as El Cidad Marina is under renovation. The alco selection is limited.

The swimming pool, Gym,and dinner cafeteria.

The hard sell of the time share program.

It’s so terrible to charge outrageous WiFi prices for an all inclusive hotel !! If your 5 mins late to dinner then you won’t be seated !! Even thou there are plenty of seats available! My room was flooded by construction being done on the room above m

The spa and massage on the ocean was the best part of the hotel stay.

Didn't get the ocean view junior suite I'd selected upon arrival. Receptionist was rude. High pressure timeshare presentation. This hotel doesn't offer any activities that you'd expect, no nightlife activities and isn't close to anything. Food is okay.
