THE WESTIN NEW ORLEANS

The room needed to be updated or at least new carpet. The room smelled funky and the carpet was stained everywhere!

The gumbo was exceptional. It was in a great location also.

There was a big water bug in the room and a few hairs in the shower.

Very clean hotel, lobby is beautiful, great location and easy to get around other areas.

I liked the location and river view

I didn?t like the noise from the elevator, the guest above us not the noise from the tugboat. The bar beverages were also pricey

Self parking and valet both over $60. More than 50% of the base hotel rate.

Location, clean, professional staff, dog friendly, very comfortable room. Will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Bartender added a $100 plus bill to our room, which was not applicable. It was removed after being contested to management. Parking in very pricey.

The poor attitudes of the workers. The refrigerator did not work and I had medicine that had to be refrigerated. We only had scalding hot water in both knobs of the bath and sink.

Staying at the Westin in New Orleans is like staying in the French Quarter but not hearing all the noise since it's closer to the Mississippi river.

My room was next to the elevator but it wasn't too loud.

No parking, pillows were horrible, weird odd rotting smell in hotel

I had an amazing time at the Westin. Manager resolved an late night food order. The front desk was very welcoming at Breakfast every Morning.Not to mention who suggested the boat ride

I love Westin hotels. This one is beautiful and in a great location.

They double charged me for the resort fee and refuse to refund my money.

Clean, comfortable, and in good proximity to everything I wanted to see and do during my business trip.

The view of the river was awesome. The hotel was very fancy for the price.

I didn't like the separate elevators. We ordered room service and breakfast was cold. It was expensive. Also, some of the fruit we ordered was slimy and tasted and looked spoiled. For --- dollars, I was disappointed.

Once I made it to the actual hotel, the views were amazing! There was a luxury bar amongst a beautiful back drop of the Mississippi River. The lobby was inviting with a beautifully done grass wall, complimenting seating, and an elegant mirror.

The hotel was hard to find. I traveled to a few floors with luggage before arriving to the correct destination. Once I got to my room the hotel staff was cleaning the rooms next to me and were on their phones speaking very loudly. The doors also slam.

Best features of this hotel were the location to the French Quarter and the view from the 11th floor lobby/bar area. Staff was professional and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Next to casino

I had to wait 10 minutes for the water in the shower to get hot engineer was called. Also, we got stuck in the elevator twice because our car didn't work and then the third time we got locked out of our room because the cars didn't work.

Friendly staff and location was great. The only downside is there is no pool . When temperatures are over 100 degrees, a pool would have been nice

No pool

We got off of our cruise ship early in the morning. Because they had a room available. They checked us in at 7:30 in the morning. This was an amazing thing for us.

I would like to see benches, or some kind of outside area for smokers.
