The only thing that didn't disappoint me was the housekeeping.
I like that the hotel was clean and smelled good. It also had space and enough room to maneuver my bags.
Exceeded my expectations by having amenities that were not listed on the hotel website¿a refrigerator in the room and breakfast offerings in the lobby. Just fruit and granola bars but it got me started.

Roomy and friendly staff. However, the front desk attendant was new and I acquired an add'l $109.00 to my room charges. She said it would be credited back to the same card that I made the reservation with, but haven't sen that credit come through yet.

Friendly helpful staff, location, size of room and amenities
The guest above our room paced the floor all night and started to making a sound like they were hammering something. Called front desk and the guest was quiet for a bit then continued pacing the floor. That is my only complaint. Floor/ceiling paper thin.

Top Tips
- Book your Greeley hotel 30-90 days before the Greeley Stampede (late June to early July) to avoid sold-out rooms and last-minute rate hikes. Check cancellation policies, as special events may have stricter terms than standard bookings.
- Reserve lodging 30-45 days in advance for University of Northern Colorado (UNC) commencement (early May) and move-in weekends (late August), as demand from families and international guests is high. Contact your hotel directly to confirm accessible room features or your preferred room layout.
- Plan ground transport from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Greeley, as the drive takes about 50-70 minutes (50-60 miles), and there is no regular commercial shuttle. Many international hotel brands can assist with booking rideshares, rental cars, or private shuttles.
- Select hotels within 0.5-1 mile of downtown Greeley or the UNC campus for an easy 10-20 minute walk to restaurants, museums, and event venues. Some hotels provide free bike rentals or have partnerships with local transit operators.
- Verify your hotel’s parking policy for event weekends; most chain hotels offer free onsite parking, but downtown meters and municipal lots operate paid hours, often Monday through Saturday. Ask if accessible parking or electric vehicle charging is available if needed.
- Ask about water conservation policies in summer, as Greeley enforces seasonal watering restrictions and hotels may encourage linen reuse or adjust landscape irrigation. Some hotel brands offer green-stay incentives for eco-conscious guests.
- Greeley–Weld County Airport (KGXY), about 4 miles from downtown, serves general aviation and private flights and may save 45 minutes or more compared to Denver International Airport. Check with hotel concierges to arrange ground transport or hangar access if required.
- Review Greeley Evans Transit (GET) bus routes and schedules before arrival for affordable last-mile options to downtown, as late-night service is limited and not all hotels are on major lines. Some hotels offer free shuttles to main transit stops; confirm availability when booking.
- Review your final hotel bill for Colorado’s statewide sales tax (2.9%) and any Weld County or Greeley city lodging taxes, which can total 6-8% by property location. Ask in advance about additional fees, such as resort or parking charges.
- Request an interior-corridor room or one away from the highway for added security or less noise, as many budget motels near highways have exterior corridors. Communicate early with the hotel about accessible (step-free or with visual alarm) room needs.
