Brent House Hotel

Room service helped themselves into my room at 8am assuming we had already checked out. No knock first. Each room is wired up with an intercom speaker. They tested the fire alarm 30 minutes later. On a Saturday morning no less. Ridiculous. No blow dryer

Close to hospital

Just know it is literally part of the hospital. And this hospital is huge & difficult to navigate thru. We had to go down from the parking garage walk thru a maze to another elevator just to get to our room.

Customer service the manager went out get way to satisfy me when she saw I Wasn't pleased with the room

I didn't like the fact that if you opened your curtains you could only see the inside of the building, the atrium. And people could clearly see in your room no outside view.

Within hospital convenience. Spouse with Stroke, procedure of colonoscopy. Allowed early check in to room to begin prepping for procedure. Always a plus since drove 3.5 hours away.

Hair found inside fridge. The freezer compartment door was missing.

Close proximity to the hospital and places to eat.

Very rude lady at the front counter on arrival. Not even close to trying to help. Never experienced this at a hotel before. Unacceptable for a hotel that is part of a major hospital. The young lady that checked me in was helpful.

Staff were friendly & helpful. refigerator and microwave came in handy. It was queit, good for sleeping & I felt safe.

I did think it slightly overpriced, maybe because of easy access to the hospital.

The bed was too firm. The paint work on the ceiling wasn't finished around light fixtures. Navigating from the parking garage to the hotel was a little confusing at first. The hotel is attached to a large hospital, hence the confusion.

I liked the oversized rooms and comfort of the beds. There's a beautiful atrium on the way to the rooms.

Loved that it was so close to the hospital. Very clean, spacious, and newly remodeled. Staff was amazing and helpful. Shoutout to Jessica!! What a cool chic. She was very kind and New Awlins babbbyyy...

Water wasn't hot enough

It was so convenient to Oschner Medical Center. Restaurant, smoothie King, PJs Coffee. Awesome not having to leave the complex.

Maid Service only came part of my stay which was disappointing. The bed pillows way too large and puffy. No blankets.

I loved free parking. The facilities are really nice. Courtyard was beautiful and quick access to all hospital restaurants and shops.

The hotel is attached to a hospital. It was very confusing to find it initially. I can imagine it’s a lovely place to stay during a stressful time.

The convenient access to hospital.

Noisy at night. Bed was kind of hard.

The room was clean and spacious, I have no complaints. It was plenty of towels in the room as well.

The doors slams pretty loud but that’s it.

The convenience of the location.

I’ve stayed here several times more than 10 would that being said the last three trips have gotten consecutively worse I don’t know if it’s a staff issue or a management issue. Check out is at 12 noon housekeeping woke us up at 8:40 AM banging on the door. I did not answer a minute goes by. She banged on the door again both times claiming housekeeping she went away at 9:25 she came back banging on the door, saying housekeeping when I got to the door I flung it open. She says you don’t have to look disgusted, and I whipped my head around and told her you have no right to knock on my door and ask if I’m leaving today checkout is not until noon. We had a long night after a medical procedure and all we wanted to do was sleep we had been on the road since 4 AM the morning before we did not go to bed till well after midnight all we wanted to do was sleep till 10 not to be woken up by housekeeping. Banging on the door like they were police at 12:01 you have every right to come and knock on the door to see if we are leaving, but not a minute before when I spoke to management they advised me that the staff is not employed for a set time frame When they are done cleaning their rooms they are free to leave so what the staff is doing is they are rushing people out of their rooms so that they can leave early. This is highly unacceptable. Call to speak to management and was only able to speak to the housekeeping supervisor will have to call back on Monday or Tuesday to speak to the overall manager. Will not sleep there again 10 out of 10 I don’t recommend.

Free parking was great, the location was close enough to downtown without being directly on bourbon street. There is a microwave and refrigerator. In walking distance of a great coffee shop!

It's attached to a hospital which is fine but if you're not a big fan of hospitals this may not be for you. The bathrooms are a little outdated but functional. The blankets were a little thin , wouldn't hurt to bring an extra

Location, cafeteria, staff.

Wish shower fixtures and water pressure was better. Seemed like an older mattress.

It is a wonderful place to stay, however the coffee setups all had powdered creamer that had been wet and had hardened. We also never understood the sink faucet and only dribbled out hot water. These are insignificant but thought I would mention.
