The bed in our room was really comfortable. Room very clean. Shower was amazing. Food was amazing.All staff were lovely

The lighting in the room was quite dim which wasnt good near the mirror to do your hair and makeup.Thats the only complaint i have.

Lovely room with everything you want. Excellent food in the restaurant at night and a good breakfast. Plenty of atmosphere in the pub at night. One of the best pubs in Nantwich. Staff all friendly and efficient.

There's a smal freel car park that is signed as Cheshire Cat only, but others also park on it, so not always a space. But no realistic way of controlling it. Only small fault, and really a major problem.

All staff were lovely and had a nice brunch on Saturday. Nice space in the apartmet and well appointed. It was noisy from the pub. There was a smell of smoke in the bathroom, presume another guest was smoking above or below us and it was coning through the vent.The carpets need cleaning/replacing, they were so dirty it would put me off staying another night.

We stopped for dinner as well as overnight; all food was cooked to order - camembert started was delicious; sirloin steaks cooked to perfection. Room was spacious; bathroom well presented.Smoked salmon at breakfast delightful

Hubby would have liked a simple continental breakfast; with a jug of coffee!

Conveniently located, nice pub with a great atmosphere and lively in the evening , the rooms are in an annex building across a small courtyard so there is absolutely no noise from the pub which was nice! Great food in the pub/restaurant and friendly and helpful staff.

No complaints, I’d happily stay again.

Such a charming Jacobean looking building, perfect location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really liked the food.

We have stayed here before, a couple of times, in rooms on the upper floor and it's been lovely. However this stay was disappointing.The location of the Cheshire Cat is great, really central and parking very close. The staff in the bar are helpful and efficient and the restaurant on site is good too. However we were in a room on the ground floor this stay. We were told we were in room 3 but that proved to be the wrong room. A member of staff who was showing us to our room was great and dealt with the problem speedily. However we were given an awful, cramped room 4. The bed is too big for this small room, but the bed is comfortable, nice cotton bedlinen but pillows need to be replacing. Good powerful, hot shower which sadly soaked all of this unheated wet-room.The room was surprisingly quiet as we did stay on a Saturday and Sunday, except for other inconsiderate guests, in the corridor knocking on ones anothers doors and planning their day at 8.00 AM.Breakfast was well cooked but there is little choice. We ate lunch in the upstairs restaurant on Sunday and all four roasts were terrific and the service was great, sadly somewhat spoilt by the space being used by a small noisy child running up and down amongst the tables for the hour we were there. Worth being aware that you have to go outside to move between the hotel rooms and the restaurant and bar. A brolly might be necessary.

Room 4 which we paid £200 for the two nights, including breakfast, is dreadfully designed. Very cold unless you had the Aircon running on heat constantly. The bed is too big for the room, you could barely walk around it. Bedside cabinet and lamp only on one side of the bed. Not enough room to be able to move around the furniture never mind that there are two people using the room. There is an ironing board that occupies the little space in the wardrobe. So moving that out of the wardrobe then left the problem of nowhere to put it.The batteries in the TV remote weren't working, the lightbulb in the one lamp wasn't working either.There was no locking system on the ground floor windows which we opened because of the damp created by wet-room .Wet-room was exactly that. Using the shower soaked the whole floor ...loo and hand basin. No heating in there. The floor was still wet 24 hrs after we first used it and freezing cold.No where to dry towels and only one hook in the wet-room.Gap above wet room door which is also the toilet, means that there is limited privacy. And finally just to add yet more annoyance the socket in the wet- room is on the opposite side of the basin to the shelf. We were visiting family so not in the room much but it really was an unpleasant experience.

Apartment was great size. Underfloor heating. Very warm and cozy. Staff were very welcoming at the cheshire cat. Free parking. Great location.

Staff w ere friendly and competent. The kitchen was clean.

Stained carpet in sitting room. They did say that these were due to be replaced in the New Year.They hose of the shower needed replacing.Very noisy on the Friday before Christmas until 2 in the morning (I should have realised when it mentioned Night club next door!) Breakfast was plentiful but not very warm.

Great location, near the centre of town and close to train station. Friendly staff as well.

Rooms hadn’t been hoovered on our arrival. Mattress was well worn and not very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t great, there are better places in town to grab breakfast.

Check in was so easy and friendly - staff ensured elderly parents had all they needed. Room and bathroom spotless and very modern. Beautiful pub next door and lovely fresh cooked breakfast with healthy options.

Short staffed, fire not lit , people sitting in their coats. Only 1 towel in the room... didn't notice until we showered in the morning so too late to ask for another.Seat in breakfast room was threadbare.

The staff were friendly and and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

The room had a damp smell, which was I think due to a leak from the room above. The ceiling was wet and moldy, indicating it had been leaking for some time. Thankfully it was gray water and not foul water.

Breakfast was fantastic, overall the restaurant is very good!The room was clean and comfortable. The pub is cozy and the staff and even the regulars are very friendly and welcoming.
