Beautiful resort, amazing and friendly staff, multiple choices for meals, entertainment, fun etc... The rooms and resort were clean, the Ambar was just stunning with views! Thank you we had an amazing vacation and lived Bahia Principe! ¿¿

Doors to rooms closing were sometimes loud, but other than that all GREAT things to say!

The people working there are amazing. Bianca and Adelaide were the servers by the pool that deserve all the credit for making the experience great. They could use more staff

The people that showed up super early to the pool to reserve chairs and not use them most of the day. The beds were hard.

The room was beautiful decorated. The beach was beautiful. The restaurant decor and styles are also beautiful.

The beds need to be better quality, more comfortable, pillows. A ton of beach chairs, feels claustrophobic. didn't like the club style music and activities. May be an adult but don't wna to see people bumping and grinding for chears. There to relax.

The pool wait staff were really friendly.

The Food!!! Plenty of French fries, hamburgers and hotdogs everywhere at everyplace. ¿¿

Entertainment & Ala Carte restaurants limited . Dates immediately after COVID-19 re-opening, May have thought availability would be easier rather than harder during 10-15% occupancy. Mini-bar re-stock stopped after day 2 of 1 week stay.

Price for all inclusive. Nice pool. On beach, but very rough seas. Hotel nice looking with spacious rooms.

Our room, like many others, have a horrible view of the concrete back wall of nextdoor hotel and a service road. Very few of the hotel employees speak English. Getting information or dealing with problems became exasperating. Food at buffets is fair.

a la carte restaurants were still buffet style for appetizers, salads, and deserts I got stomach bug/wife was fine (Brazilian restaurant?) Hard beds and pillows Loud early mornings before sunrise (mopeds/door slams) the towel game by other guests

Staff was awesome. Extremely clean rooms. Pools were excellent.

Beds were uncomfortable. Food was average tasting, and at worst, made numerous people sick while we were there (including me and my wife). Beach was filled with seaweed.

Nothing that was within hotel's control. Experience was great.

I had a wonderful stay at Bahia Principe Ambar- Just Adults. The food was absolutely delicious. with great variety and excellent quaility throughout my stay. The restaurants were beautiful, well organized, and the staff provided outstanding service, always attentive and welcoming.The New Year's Eve celebration was well planned and enjoyable: however, due to the rain, the experience could have been even better if the administration had preventive measures in place, such as covering the venue or providing altenative arrangement would make special events even more exceptional. - remember guests who travels for this special ocasion for relaxation and enjoyable Party for the New Year. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly recomended this resort for its food, atmosphere, and hospitality. I look foward to retuning in the future.

The hotel needs more daily and evening activities. at times, guests can feel bored, and additional entertainment options would greatly improve the overall experience.The private club occupies most of the best beach areas, leaving limited premium space for others guests. A better balance would make the beach experience fairer and more enjoyable for everyone.Staff uniforms urgently need to be updated. For a resort that advertise itself as luxury, the current uniforms do not reflect the high-end image expected.The front desk area needs urgent renovation and modernization. It does not match the elegance and quality of the rest of the resort. The mattresses in the rooms must be replaced as soon as possible. Confort and quality sleep area essential, and the current mattresses do not meet luxury standards.

Bahia Principe is a big complex of about 5 resorts. Staying at Ambar you can go to the entertainment in the other resorts, but they cannot come to Ambar as it’s adults only. But I saw some parents and their kids disrespecting this and the staff had to redirect them. The food was great, staff was very polite, beach was constantly being cleaned, golf carts available all the time to take you to the other resorts, gym was very complete, AC was very week but it wasn’t a problem for me. I found it to be very expensive because it’s child free and still having some kids coming over. Most of guests in Ambar were elderly ppl in their 60’s, 70’s. There were a few cute cats and kittens that caught a lot of attention of many guests and I wish Ambar would have some responsibility in spaying and neutering those cats and keeping them around as they were very popular. I would definitely stay here again.
