Royalton Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

The hotel has a lot of pools.

You expect the resort to be clean, with great service, amenities, and good food. We could not get reservations for their specialty restaurants. Their main dinning room lunch and dinner options was terrible. I went to bed hungry too many nights.

Pools, service was very good

Seaweed was a bit of an issue

Large room, friendly staff, plenty of pools to relax. Hotel is 20 minutes from Cancun Airport, 20 minutes to Puerto Morales, 40 min to Playa Del Carmen

Some restaurants had great, while others were just mediocre. Even with Diamond Club it was difficult to get dinner reservations.

VERY crowded. VERY noisy: club music playing around resort, impossible to get dinner reservations unless you stay up until midnight. impossible to get seat by the pool unless you wake at 6 am. The food was not good. Not a lot of gluten free food.

Pools

Hotel needs updating, food quality was not good, needs to have more activities, Very pushy hotels to push time share, trips and spa services, hotel did not feel luxury at all

Got sick from the food and the hotel staff were useless to help. Their thermometer was broken yet they tried to convince me my body temperature was 31C and that was normal.

Spa service was superior. Loved the hydra therapy. The steak restaurant had excellent food but a little too salty. Most of the food was good.

Pool towels were not readily available on our first day at the pool. Many guest had saved spots at the pool and came down hours later. This should not be acceptable.

Location

Service. My room flooded from above. They moved us to a different room but didn¿t refund our upgrade.

I did not like much about this hotel.

It was run down, not well maintained. There were cracks all over the walls, floors, pool areas. Food was extremely subpar, even at the Mexican restaurant. Best meal we had was room service. Drinks were watered down,only 1 option of white wine.

Besides the friendly staff nothing is good about this hotel! And don't ever thing about getting married in this place the wedding planer Daniela is the most Rude person in the whole World

Lobby is absolutely beautiful with beautiful views

All pool closes at 7pm. Definitely disappointing! Its extremely hard to get any reservations with the restaurants . Bars will tell you they ran out of premium liquor but as soon as you say you want to buy a bottle they magically appear.

The pools

They did a bait and switch on the room and tried to make me sign a non disclosure agreement to get a downgraded room with two beds. No discount was offered. The same thing happened to a person in front of me in the check in line.

The room we received was a pleasant surprise. Selected ocean view terrace jacuzzi and had a rooftop terrace. BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!!! And the price was great!

Resort does need some renovations and better upkeep. The flusher on the commode was broken so it kept coming out its place when we would flush. Some cosmetic damage outside room door. Lastly MOSQUITOES!!! We got bit up so bad

All inclusive...wonderful staff

Replace some of the rusted items in the spa¿s pool and the room shower door beautiful just aging item Hot tub had lil rust room shower door henge rusted

How friendly and inviting he staff was.

The food options were not what I expected. Since it is in Mexico I did expect more traditional food options.

The facility and beach are Beautiful. Restaurants and food choices were well above expectations.

The hotel was poorly staffed and service was poor compared to a previous experience (travel was during pandemic, so this is understandable).
