Old Hotel in Wantagh, New York but rooms are maintained to modern standards. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The shower took a minute or so to get hot

I like this hotel a lot. Nice and quiet location close to the beach. Very friendly staff, the restaurants is excellent.

Room gave me the creeps. No curtains on the door window. TVs didn't work properly. A/C was portable unit...very loud. It was an awful experience.

Room needs update. Broken springs in mattress scratched / bruised BOTH guests. Water on bathroom floor after flushing the toilet.

The best thing about this tiny hotel was the staff. Hotel employee was a great guy to talk to and very helpful. The rest of the staff we met, including the gardener, were great too. They were all very friendly and showed a true desire to give us a great stay.

This charming hotel was built in 1929. Much of it is in its original form (slated floors/steps, old bathrooms, old wood, etc). I think some upgrades to keep it antique yet more esthetically appealing would be nice.

Booked a king room, got a queen bed, in a room where the floors slanted inwards so it felt like you were falling over, and the bed was so used it sunk in the middle. Man at the desk was nice though. Never again will I be booking online

It is an older Hotel but the room had been completely redone. Very clean, bed and pillows comfortable. The food at this Italian restaurant is fantastic! I really enjoyed my stay.

The reception guy was very rude and not nice it's so unacceptable he's a white guy was at the night shift when I checked in very bad customer service if he doesn't like his job he should leave I've never seen a reception worker like that the worst ever an

pretty much everything else. Disgustingly dirty, rooms were so old and nasty. Smelled moldy funny. carpet looks like it was from the 1920s....I will NEVER stay at this place ever again....

Location

Everything. Not clean. Garbage left in the room from previous guest. Portable space heater because radiator did not work. Not enough blankets. Burnt out candle. Carpet should have been replaced many years ago or at least cleaned. Just awful.

I loved how at home I felt and that there was a park next door! It is also only a few minutes away from Jones Beach.
