Barcelo Bavaro Beach - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Our room was clean and spacious . Beautiful location on the beach. Huge pool, gorgeous grounds , very relaxing .

Some of The staff was friendly and helpful . Other staff would ignore you for drinks, food, etc.

I want to give kudos to Hotel employee at the pool, Hotel employee and the hostess at Chez Gourmet. Hotel employee in the Premium Lounge went over and above for us. I hurt my back and she got me a golf cart to go to the doctor. Also made our dinner reservations!

Buffets were average

I enjoyed being able to also enjoy the Barcelo Bavaro Palace

My room definitely needs updating and had mosquitoes which they had to call the exterminator a few times during my stay which was only 4 nights. By the pool as well as at the buffet they don¿t really come over and serve you, I had to ask for everything

Location and the proximity to the airport is the best part of the hotel.

Limited food options for vegetarians, Restaurant choices more on the kids resort than adults, There should be more options (restaurants, bars, activities) for adults.

The buffets are awesome. The fancy restaurants are not. Small portions and the food isn¿t good. There¿s no swim up bar in the pool literally have to get out.

Such as they don¿t have any wash cloths for the showers.the adults only resort closes everything at midnight including bars. But on the kids side everything is open until 2-3am. You can¿t wear a bathing suit top to lunch even though it¿s beside the pool.

Room has mildew smell and behind the curtain was black mold and ants in room.

toilet pressure ( constant flushing) would love the pool to stay open later than 7pm.

I visited Punta Cana many times, I took my mom, husband and friends to Barcelo Beach expecting to have a great time. This time was not the case¿ the staff working in the buffets and restaurant are so rude! Always with a long face like they mad.

I ordered room service and received a burger with expired meat, they offer to exchange it for something else but never apologized¿ overall I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place, it was a terrible experience since the check In. Save your money.

Too large Adults only section was none existent: Restaurants closed Beach closed Stuff could not communicate in any language other than Spanish

I really didn't like the charge they make for room service to single rooms. and the hotel Wifi is bad.

The food and amenities

The room had many issues: bad lighting, broken tv, plumbing issues with the toilet. The wifi around the hotel was not working consistently

It was stunning. Beautiful so well kept. The staff was so nice and cared for us well. Food was excellent!!

The beach and pool

The room was outdated and we waited for an hr to check in although it was 3 pm.

Everything the hotel is excellent but the best is the beach!!! very near you can walk !!! December 31 we had the best party in my life!!!thank youuuu!!!

The only thing that we did not like was the bathroom shower

The location is great, and the pool is nice.

The food is generally bad. We went for our honeymoon, and my husband became violently ill day one, I became ill day two. We were sick the whole trip. Diarrhea, vomiting, horrible stomach cramps. It was unreal. And there were lots of issues with our room.

The location is great and you can go to adjoining properties. Beautiful hotel!

Rooms might need a little updating but everything else was great.
