There was a guy on front desk reception. May be, he was wonderful, provided all the information needed to visit city, helped us book shuttle and all other necessary information to survive in Zurich.
Nice property close to restaurants and the train station. It was a bit further from the airport then we thought. About a 10 minute drive.

We went to Zurich to see Taylor Swift and this hotel was a great location to go to the stadium. The hotel staff was super helpful and friendly and the room was clean.
Location with adjacent parking space ($25CHF/ per day) Nice food festival across the hotel on the day, when we stayed there.
Clean, pool, good location but a 20 minute walk to old town, nice garden seating, close to Viadukt and Limmat River walk. Nice program to decline housekeeping and receive free drinks!

Ease to get to airport early in morning in Tram. Nearby restaurant and Coop.
Its proximity to direct public transportation to the lake, train station, and airport. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and the two men who assisted us with some of our issues were kind (but I?d like to think that?s standard).
The Room was very Hot, I bucket with breakfast but in the hotel was no Breakfast bucket.

The pictures in your website does not reflects the views from the hotel. The staff is very impolite. Your website is misleading in explaining the city taxes are not included and that the parking is an amenity without any indication of the cost. 42$ per da
Clean, well appointed, great location.
Top notch! White elephant restaurant was outstandingly delicious. Get the breakfast buffet; absolutely delicious and worth the advanced discounted price.

Top Tips
- Book early to secure your Zürich Airport hotel stay, as occupancy rises sharply during trade fairs and holiday periods. Compare rates on platforms like TripAdvisor, and choose refundable options for flexibility if your plans may change.
- Confirm whether your hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle or direct walkway. Most properties are within a 5-15 minute walk or run shuttles every 15-30 minutes. Check shuttle schedule and terminal drop-off points, especially for departures before 6:00.
- Request a soundproofed room away from runway-facing windows if you are sensitive to aircraft noise. Most Zürich Airport hotels use double- or triple-glazed windows, but proximity varies, so confirm these features during booking for best rest.
- If arriving by car, select hotels offering park-and-fly or discounted long-term parking packages, which can cost up to 30% less than regular airport parking. Verify package terms and reserve parking at booking.
- Ensure you have a valid photo ID and credit card ready at check-in, since Swiss law requires registration. Hotels typically photocopy your passport or ID and pre-authorize your credit card for the stay.
- Ask about breakfast hours and early grab-and-go options if you have a morning flight. Many properties offer self-service or takeaway breakfast from as early as 4:30 for travelers with early departures.
- Inquire about luggage storage and late check-out when booking or at arrival. Most Zürich Airport hotels provide free storage before check-in and after check-out, and late check-out is often possible for a fee with advance notice.
- Download the SBB and ZVV apps to plan public transit from the airport. Trains reach Zürich HB in 10-15 minutes, with tickets available via SBB machines or mobile app.
- When buying public transport tickets, confirm ZVV zone coverage for trips between the airport and city. Single trip fares start at CHF 6.80. Taxis cost upwards of CHF 50 to the city center, and public trains are faster and more frequent.
- Use your hotel's shuttle as an alternative to taxis. Most run every 15-30 minutes and are included in the room rate, saving CHF 20-30 per trip compared to local taxis.
- Tipping for hotel and restaurant service is optional in Switzerland, as service charges are included. For outstanding service, rounding up or adding 5-10% (approx. $5.50-$11 USD, or 5-10 CHF on a 100 CHF bill) is appreciated but not required.
- Arrive on time for shuttles and reservations, as Swiss schedules are strictly observed. English is widely spoken, but using 'Danke' (thank you) or other basic German greetings is appreciated and fosters positive interactions.
- Respect quiet hours after 22:00. Keep noise low in hallways and guest rooms. Many airport hotels enforce these rules to maintain a peaceful environment.
- Switzerland is safe, but in busy areas like trains, store valuables in your in-room safe or locked luggage. Major chains offer secure foyers and safety deposit boxes at reception upon request.
- Use Swiss Francs (CHF) for purchases. Credit and debit cards, including contactless payments, are widely accepted, though some vending machines or small shops may require cash.
- Know local emergency numbers: 112 (Europe-wide), 144 (ambulance), 117 (police), and 118 (fire). Ask hotel staff for the nearest pharmacy if needed; reception can provide directions.
- If traveling for business, confirm whether your hotel offers fast Wi-Fi, business centers, meeting rooms, and 24-hour reception. Many airport properties also provide express laundry and early breakfast tailored to business traveler needs.
- For family trips, check if the hotel has connecting or family rooms, cribs, dedicated children's menus, or early breakfast. Major chains near Zürich Airport cater for families with these services, so request in advance for availability.
- Check opening times for spa, wellness, and fitness centers. Several airport hotels offer indoor pools or saunas open daily, some by prior booking due to demand. Reserve treatments or gym slots ahead, especially during busy periods.
- Expect a mandatory local city/tourist tax of 2-4 CHF per guest per night in Zürich, usually charged at check-in or check-out if not pre-paid.
- Check current health policies at your hotel. Face masks and COVID testing may still be required for select services or for guests arriving from outside the Schengen area. Confirm entry requirements prior to travel.
- For VAT (tax) refunds on major shopping, save your receipts and request export forms at eligible shops. VAT must be reclaimed at customs before you leave Switzerland, as hotels cannot process these.
- Communicate any special requests, such as early check-in, preferred room location, dietary needs, or shuttle pickup, by calling or emailing the hotel at least 48 hours before arrival.
- Report issues like noise or technical problems to reception right away. Major chains are equipped to resolve most guest concerns promptly.
- Ask the front desk or concierge for accurate train schedules, restaurant suggestions, or excursion bookings. Staff have local knowledge and updated information on services.
- Use fast train links from the airport for half-day trips to Zürich's city center (10-15 minutes), Rhine Falls, or nearby attractions. Many hotels offer same-day luggage storage for convenience.
- Sample a Swiss breakfast buffet. Local breads, cheeses, and muesli are featured at most Zürich Airport hotels. Try these regional specialties before departure for a local experience.
- Bring a Type J power adapter, as all outlets in Switzerland use this standard. Voltage is 230V, so check with the hotel if you require a converter or international plug.
- Business-focused hotels near the airport often offer reduced weekend rates when corporate demand drops. Compare prices on weekends for savings.
- Booking directly with hotels may secure better rates or breakfast inclusions, especially in a high-cost city like Zürich. Evaluate direct offers against aggregator sites.
- For easier communication outside tourist areas, download offline translation apps. English is commonly spoken in hotels.
- Check if your room has air conditioning, as it is not standard in all properties, especially older hotels. Ask about in-room temperature control when booking for comfort.
- Request a complimentary city map from reception. Hotels often stock high-quality maps showing nearby restaurants, attractions, and transit routes.
- In winter (December-February), confirm that your room has adjustable heating and inquire about ski storage if needed. In summer (June-August), check for adequate ventilation or air conditioning. Advance requests help guarantee comfort.
- Book a spa treatment inspired by Swiss wellness tradition or sample Swiss chocolates available in hotel gift shops. Some hotels offer advance spa reservations to guarantee your relaxation time after flights.
- Business and solo travelers can use co-working spaces offered by some airport hotels. These usually feature fast Wi-Fi and ergonomic seating, payable by hour or included with premium rooms.
- Look for hotels with real-time flight displays in the lobby, wake-up call options, or day-use rooms for long layovers. Some properties offer on-site airline check-in counters for added convenience.
- Drink Swiss tap water, available in all hotel rooms and public areas. It is of excellent quality and helps avoid plastic waste and bottled water costs.
- Consider purchasing a Zürich Card for unlimited city transport, including airport trains, and discounts at museums. Zürich Cards are available at the airport or online for 24- or 72-hour durations.
