super nice and friendly staff, amazing grounds, comfy room. surprise fire spinning show for dinner. amazing breakfast

people smoking in the dinner area ruined dinner for me. the room smelled like smoke to, coming in from the vents, had a hard time sleeping one night because of it. my clothes smelled like smoke the next day. maybe they need to install smoke detectors in rooms.

Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough.The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days!Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

A Wonderful StayVery cosy and clean hotel. The front desk staff were always helpful and ready to assist with anything.The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety.The pool was lovely, and the location is ideal—just 10 minutes from the temple.The hotel is set within a large park, perfect for familie with kids(was not my case), with great spots for children: a mini zoo, basketball and badminton courts, a playroom, and more.Don’t miss the Patio Restaurant – it was absolutely magical!

Staff is superb. Very loving and caring and very thorough! Food in all restaurants is excellent. We are in the hotel the entire stay. Loved the decor.

Property is ok but not on par with the price. Booking.com also listed wrong price for the extra bed. No support whatsoever from Booking.com to ractify the mistake. Better book directly with the property website.

The hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. From the location, the decorations and feel in the hotel, and the comfort of the bedroom, I can only recommend staying there

Excellent restaurants, pool and variety of things to do on the property.

We loved the serenity of the location. The staff were helpful and very hospitable. Breakfast is good and also the afternoon teas.

There should be more curated free activities for guests like village cultural walks, daily sunrise yoga or meditation . I booked for a yoga class and found out that it was not daily.

Amazing hotel with a top service level and an heavenly rice field view. Very friendly helpful geniune staff! Wow! The Steak and the Lava CAKE was just TOP! I asked to grill my meat ‘saignant’/medium rare & it was just perfect! Thank you for the great experience! Well deserved 5/5! The breakfast was extended and delicious. The tea break was very well organised. Amazing rooms as well. We also liked the authenticity of the Hotel. Very local support and local feeling.

Super peaceful area with beautiful views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and enough choice. The pool area is not super big but enough for us to chill. Room was very comfortable.

The hallway of the hotel to the room was noisy so you would hear all that was happening in the hallway.

At first we were so confused with your staff replied on whatsapp but we had great explanation when we arrived in the hotel and thank you for the room upgrade all are perfect ✨

The service from the staff was impeccable from the moment we walked into the lobby. They were warm and always attentive. We ordered room service and ate at the restaurant and the food was always delicious! The afternoon tea was a nice treat with a beautiful view of the sunset. We loved that there was a water machine in our room in addition to bottled water. Everything was perfect.

We loved everything about our stay there!

Pleasant room, comfortable bathroom, nice view on the swimming pool and vegetation. The welcome drink and massage. The support of the staff to schedule activities. We really enjoyed the time making Jamu with our lovely teacher. The strong massages were appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at the lounge terrace. And we completely loved the bike tout of surroundings on the monday morning: a great memory as the Jamu lesson. We saw beautiful fields, crossed lively villages with kids in the school courts and drank coconut water along the way.

Clean, vintage, elegant, convenient to Borobudur temple

The bathtub glass is too narrow , causing the water to splash out of the tub and wet the bathroom floor while showering.

A nice room design. Large swimming pool, so many vegetation makes the hotel feels like colder in hot and humid Magelang. there is also a private carnival for kids.located just a couples km from Borobudur, Punthuk Setumbu can be reached within 6 minutes driving.

Mini zoo is still in renovation when we’re staying there.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and tranquil, close to nature and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really a home away from home. Special thanks to Pak Bimo who was always around to ask us if we needed any assistance :)

Breakfast was good esp the pastries

It was difficult to communicate with the staff esp in the stupa restaurant .they do try their best but the conversation can get lost in translation.
