Holiday Inn Express And Suites Basel Allschwil By IHG

Modern and friendly staff

The breakfast was fine location was good.

No microwave no refrigerator no hot water for a shower no tv that spoke English except for news. As a IHG member I expected a lot more.

The price/quality ratio was very good for Switzerland standards. There's a bus stot right in front of the hotel entrance, so it's quite easy to use public transportation while staying at the hotel.

The bedroom was a bit small, and the bed was also small, it was too short.

Clean, secure

Needs plug-in converter, suitcase stands

The stuff, cleanness, breakfast and price.

Unfortunately the windows on our side couldn't be open and the airco couldn't make the room cold enough that's why it wasn't difficult to get in sleep. If you don't have problem with that, this is a great hotel.

Breakfast exceptional, you can also takeaway for your needs

Garage 100m away, not comfortable as it was cold. Too pricey

CleanComfortablekettle and mug with tea and coffee providedGood breakfast provided

a bit of outside the city center, but basel card is providedno disposable slippersthey don’t clean and change towel everyday unless requested.

Very helpful staff when BOOKING.COM messed up again....Free transport.

The hotel was clean and cozy, the breakfast is sufficient

The hotel staff informed us that they would provide a BaselCard (as also stated in the FAQs). Therefore, we attempted to use the benefits offered by the BaselCard and purchased discounted tickets. When we arrived at the venues, we were informed that our card was Baselland, not a BaselCard, and therefore invalid for those benefits. As a result, we are now trying to obtain refunds from the venues. When we raised this issue with the hotel staff, they were uninterested. Even though the the hotel is cozy and clean, we will not stay there again. They should train their staff better and give the correct information to their clients.

The hotel is new and very comfotable and clean. I liked it. Very good breakfast. It is not near the center, but there is bud stop is in fron of it. The hotel provides a oree fiding oaa for public transportation. The bus stop is near the okd town.

Liked that there was parking available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved that they provided a bus pass and helpful directions to the Christmas Market.

The parking garage wasn’t super accessible. There’s a locked door (for unknown reasons since anyone can simply walk into the garage from the opposite side of the building) on the hotel side of the garage requiring a long walk dragging luggage unnecessarily. The hotel wasn’t in an ideal location, but the bus passes did very much help rectify that. But it would’ve been nice to be a little more centrally located. However, if the price is right, and mobility and agility to ride public transport doesn’t bother you, it’s a solid stay.

Clean, good bus conection, good breakfast

TV channels didn't work sometines

Overall, a great experience with the front desk, the room, the breakfast and the transportation-to-city convenience. I will certainly look up Holiday In Express Alschwill in my next trip.

Breakfast was standard fare for a hotel breakfast in western Europe, that is assorted cheeses and meats, scrambled eggs, bread, etc. The espresso machine was great. The staff in the breakfast area were great.

I used the guest laundry and absolutely felt fleeced by the app-based washer/dryer administration system.

Hotel was clean and was very comfortable.

The parking garage is in the next buildng.

New building, staff was helpful, roomy suite, public transport pass

Parking was in different building and no access from parking to hotel, you should drop off luggage then go park- best way. Otherwise it was great

Room was spacious and bathroom was new. Bedding was great and breakfast was very nice.

It was a bit far from the center of Basel but the bus was just outside the door.

Clean, good breakfast, friendly check-in staff

Room was hot

The room was modern and colorful, quiet, top notch linens and because you needed a keyboard to use the elevator.. safe. There was a laundry in the basement, a bar with food open 24 hrs a day. The bus stop was located across the street and gro very store 1 block away. Room came with a bus pass!!

Rooms are clean, new buildings, nice breakfast,

Washing machines not easy to use
