Extremely clean; amazing pool (deep and crystal clear); lovely pool area for relaxing; delightful staff; easy walking access to beach and restaurants in Agios Prokopios

This is a wonderful property. The hosts appear to be a family and they greeted us promptly and professionally. We had 2 rooms and each was well appointed, very clean, and spacious. As far as location, it is about a 5-10 minute walk directly to the beach and about 10-20 minutes into town, depending on how far you wanted to go. We did not utilize a taxi while we were there, but we saw numerous ones, so I doubt it would be a problem to go to and from by taxi. We did leave the island by walking to the bus stop which was about 5 minutes away downhill. All in all, a lovely stay.

The hotel was beautiful and and maintained with utmost care. It is a family run hotel and they were very friendly and helpful. Everything was exceptionally clean and updated.

There was nothing to dislike.

This was paradise. The location, the staff, the view, it was true perfection. We travelled with two kids and the apartment was perfect for us. The view is incredible, and it is an easy walk to the beach and town. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing hotel with a stunning view and large pool. We had the jacuzzi balcony room and I was large and well appointed. The staff was always cleaning and always helpful. We had many of the breakfast items and they were all very good. Large portions and very fresh.The staff was helpful with our group and also with making drinks for us. Absolutely gorgeous flowers and the stunning view!I can’t say enough.Very comfortable stay.

Location was perfect for getting around the island and beach close with lots of sunbed!!!!

The mattresses where a little hard would be my only negative thing about the whole stay for 10 days!!!

The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable.One of the highlights was the pool—crystal clear, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Breakfast each morning was a real treat, with a delicious variety of fresh options that set us up perfectly for the day.The service was truly top-notch. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were always ready with helpful local recommendations. You can tell they take great pride in the hotel and care deeply about their guests’ experience.All in all, Proteas Hotel was the perfect base for exploring Naxos and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Spacious, clean, amazing pool, and overall great place to stay. It is a 15/20 min walk to village and beach but we did not mind. Great breakfast as well.

The property was beautiful, spacious and had a beautiful pool. 15 minute walk to Agios Prokopios for the fabulous beach and restaurants.

A wonderful, truly 'family run' hotel with on-site owners who take great pride in ensuring that everything is as perfect as possible. There was a generally calm and relaxed atmosphere which was delightful. The level of cleanliness everywhere was faultless. The pool is the best maintained and cared-for pool we have ever experienced and the surrounding bougainvillea is beautiful. Our apartment was pool-side and we had a generous outside dining area which was fully shaded. There was a very useful discreet drying area too. You can order drinks, lunch and snacks at the pool. The beach is about an 8-minute walk using the short cut and it takes a similar time to walk to town in the evening (uphill on the return). There's a small supermarket, two laundry services and a great bakery in the town, as well as a large selection of restaurants. The hotel has a large parking area.

The hotel is gradually upgrading rooms and our apartment was 'economy' level so it was rather bland, especially the second bedroom which has very little storage provision. However this was not a problem for us because we didn't intend to use the second bedroom and the excellent level of cleanliness and care could not be faulted. The bed was a little too hard for us but the hotel immediately provided a topper which completely solved the problem.

This is a small beautiful hotel run by a family. A small but delicious menu prepared by "Mama." It is situated on a hillside overlooking Agios Prokopios Beach. It's a short 10 minute walk to the beach and another few minutes to the small village of Aghia Anna. After a cruise and sightseeing for 16 days, this was the place to relax. All the staff were friendly and attentive. A very inviting pool to swim. Would stay here again.

Accommodation was first rate. The rooms were spotless and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast was extra but very good selection. This family run hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday

My room was fresh and exceptionally clean and well appointed with a lovely view. Staff were amazing. They were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. It was a very pretty family run hotel where they obviously took great pride in making it a wonderful experience

The wifi wasn’t great and it would have been nice to have even one English tv channel

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our bags taken to our rooms, quick and simple check in. The rooms were the cleanest I have experienced yet. Very pleasant stay.

The last hill to walk up from the bus stop. But you can't get the view otherwise!

A wonderful hotel! Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and a lovely pool. It’s great that you can order lunch and snacks in addition to breakfast, making it perfect for a day by the pool. The beach is a reasonable distance away, about a 8-minute walk, but be aware there is some elevation to consider.I would definitely recommend it!
