Bartenders and waitstaff were very helpful, everyone else was awful

Yes, they would not let me leave the hotel. There was a very long line for checkout and I would've been late for my flight so I told them to send me the bill and they refused. I was delayed and almost missed my flight. I was a prisoner. DO NOT VISIT!

Very disappointed in the room was expecting a swim out pool paid just to have the swim out!The pictures on line are very deceiving not even close!An all pools close at 8 so if you're out exploring during the day u don't get to enjoy them Dissappoined

Staff was outstanding and attentive, food was excellent.

Beach was choked with seaweed. Not a beach to snorkel, swim, or wade. A little hard to relax by the beach with a big tractor dragging a mechanized seaweed raking machine behind it e every 5 minutes.

AC did not work in the room and we received no help or assistance. Paid extra for a Ocean front but what we got was a poolside with buildings on both side. If you looked past the building and trees you could see a little sliver of ocean. Disappointing

Air conditioners did not work in any of the restaurants, so it was very uncomfortable to sit in the heat. There is also a clear cost-cutting on food quality. My friends had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and recommended it to us, but when we all came together this year, even they were shocked by the decline in room conditions, food, and air conditioning.

Big rooms

Location was poor, no access to the beach. Line ups for the restaurants. Small portions of food. Not all the staff were friendly. Very bad quality of pool’s water.

The "resort" had sub par entertainment compared to Hyatt Zilara which is a sister property (adults only). The nightly shows were just meh, nothing even compared to other property shows (where the price was similar. The buffet breakfast was the best food for the 4 days we stayed.

The property was most definitely NOT kept up, as clean or updated as any other Hyatt resort we've been to in the past. For the price paid (over $500/night) we were very disappointed. We spoke to over 30 families during our visit and ALL of them said the same thing, that they would not be returning and they would leave and transfer to a different hotel if they could. We had terrible service at the Asian restaurant (Kiko) by a waiter named Diego. The incident also included the disrespectful and rude hostess named Betsabel Gonzalez. The food was not great at most of the restaurants we had dinner, the buffet breakfast was the best food we found. The hotel also only carries two types of beer dos x and I think the other one was tecate, can't remember. Just very disappointed in our stay and with the overall experience, it was a bummer because our family vacay was not amazing as all our other Hyatt visits have been. Our room bathroom as well as other bathrooms on the property were pretty gross, moldy and just nasty! My mom's room couch had MOLD all over it and the hotel offered to change the couch! She refused and insisted she be changed to a different room, my mouth flew open when I found out. Upon checking in, we requested to be near my other family members. It was then that we were notified that our rooms were on COMPLETE opposite ends of the property, BUT if we wanted to pay for ocean view, we may be able to be closer. I think they were just trying to upsell us. The biggest down side to this hotel was that there was NO BEACH AT ALL, there's a small 20 yard wide by maybe 8 yards in depth area with no sand, just rocky dirt where the 15 or so beach chairs sat... C'mon, no beach area is just sad for a beach vacay, they may be "beach front" but there's no beach at all at this property also no umbrellas on the so called little dirt area

Not what I was expected

Hotel is far from the rest of the city, 25 mints on a dirt road, At check in we had a $ 300.00 spa coupon from Zylara Cancun a sister hotel and the receptionist answer with a big laugh that they do not \\\ HONNOR \\\ coupons for sister hotels . The room was ok except for the bathroom that had heir all over There is no Beach only a walking pad with a few chairs, the tropical view from the room was the next building with mold on the outside, at the pool you have to reserve your chairs before 6am or you wont get a chair or umbrella for the little one's, Breakfast is the same every day, the outdoor servings are decent, but the personal isn't happy, more like mad, most of the time with exceptions, dinner at hibachi was a disaster, hostess didn't let us seat at fire table and the waitress got our order all mixed up. Dinner at Parrilla restaurant was all good Thank you Sr. Alejandro. So not Bad but not excellent. We will not visit again.

Curtain was broken, only 2 towels for family of 4, breakfast buffet was mediocre; only 1 nespresso pod per day; no adult beverages worth drinking

Pool and beach were nice and clean. Property overall was clean

Had to keep calling to get clean towels. Maid service didn’t clean room 2 days out of 6. 2 days without top sheet and didn’t refill fridge and restock drinking water without being called. Long waits for dinner. Food was mediocre at best. 400$ resort credits could only be used 40$ at a time instead of like most resorts it is just credited to your purchases of services. Overall ok but won’t be back

Good food

A bit old, but lack of activities for kids and entertainment. No good attention to the guest asked fot towels pr anything to the room and it took hours if they get there, no beach, all dirty. The hotel coudl probably clean the beah off the sargaso so the guests can swim in the ocean, you cant do that Good restaurants but you can’t reserve a table sonthe waiting time is about an hour. We had money in the roommpur mistake we didn’t pit ot tin tue safe, lost crocs at the property And i couldGo on but wont

The hotel is VERY far from everything. And it’s not very easy to find an Uber for 5 people… taxi for 4 is a different thing though.Also the food wasn’t very good. Only the breakfast…

Breakfast and dinner options are really good. I am vegetarian and found lots of options in food throughout the day. Ambience was really nice and well maintained.

Beach area was not so clean and beach water is not for swimming.
