Sritel Boutique Hotel

Pros +

• its not so eerie
• Already mentioned in my previous review of the other room I booked at the same time
• Clean sheets and sleeping areas, reasonably comfortable beds, generally clean bathrooms (except for what I've written below), availability of hot and cold water at a water cooler on each floor, nearby convenience stores/petrol stations to get things from (even though not within walking distance, but 5 minute drive)

Cons -

• the bed, the pillow, the toilet bowl. called the staff about the dirty pillow with stains, staff asked me to bring down the pillow for them to change. was shocked to hear that, perhaps its a norm but its a first time for me and LAST TIME! goodbye.

• There was a cockroach in the bathroom of one of the rooms I booked (occupied by my students). I killed the cockroach and then informed the receptionist. They just said, "Ya, our standard rooms with no windows are like that," as if it's acceptable or normal I don't expect staff to be able to fully control any bug that appears in the hotel, but at least an apology and a promise to ask pest control to do something about it in future would be more appropriate Also, the ironing board was really thin and flimsy (so harder to use)
