Black Hmong View Homestay

The room was not clean enough, no AC, shower was cold and lightening was poor.. I booked a room with a view, but the view was to the ugly street, so i had to pay more for view. The manager was not flexible and not nice.

The room was great—very spacious, with a comfortable bed and everything clean and well-kept. The best part was definitely the view, which was absolutely spectacular.

The only downside was that when we arrived at 6:00 AM, the front office was locked and there was no one around. I had informed them about our early arrival, and while I didn’t expect a full reception or a greeting, it would’ve been helpful if we could leave our luggage at the reception while we went for breakfast.Overall, a very pleasant stay, but this small issue could be improved for future guests.

I had a great stay! The owner helped me with all my questions. I even had a massage in my own room! The room was big, clean, and very comfortable, with a good bathroom. They even had a heated bed, which was perfect because it was cold! You can also eat right in front of the property. The owner arranged my bus to Hanoi. Simple breakfast.

Nothing all good

The property is clean. It feels like home more than a hotel. Really enjoyed staying here. The lady there is really kind and helpful. We arrived there very early in the morning, away from check in time. But she let us stay in the hotel, giving us hot drinks and blankets to make us warm. It was very nice of her. And helped us with other things we want to know. There is also a very adorable and clever cat with small ears and legs. It is the best thing and the best hotel ever during my Vietnam journey. Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Sapa. Loved every single second there.

I am rating this hotel 1 star, because i traveled to Sapa in winter, the weather was freezing, and they didn't had any heating, i stayed for 3 nights here, the second day i asked about it, and the owner told me they didn't have any heating because it was a cheap room. During these 3 days nobody came to clean the room, and it seemed that they didn't care about us at all, even if we were feeling sick because the room felt colder than the frozen streets. Such a sad experience

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Heated blankets are a welcome treat during Sapa winter. Good breakfast

The view is wonderful, the hotel location is not far from the center of the city. The owner is very helpful, the room always has warm water.

The motor bike I rented ran out of petrol 2km away from the petrol station when I picked up the keys Please leave enough petrol for customers to get to the petrol station which is 3km away from the hotel I had to push it uphill 2km was an interesting start to the day ?

Loved our few day stay here. First of all, this property comes with THE most ADORABLE munchkin cat. I am obsessed with her. The night we arrived we were put into a bigger room as I assume ours wasn’t ready yet, with the most amazing view on the mountains. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. We also got our laundry washed here, probably the speediest service we’d experienced in SE Asia. Staff was so so lovely. Thank you - we definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting SaPa. I still think about the cat every day.

Perfect place for your stay in Sapa. The owner is a lovely woman who will help you anytime you need it. She cooks a delicious breakfast, and always welcomes you with a beautiful smile. The view from our room was great!

Nice location and quite big room plus breakfast included. Appreciate we could leave the luggage after check out and take the shower after the trekking.

The room could be cleaner and the vathroom should provided with toilet paper. It was stuffy in the room but there is no air conditioning and the fan is coverem in dust so we didn't even want to turn it on :(

Great and very helpful host, cute cat, comfortable room and nice breakfast. Easy to rent a motorbike for exploring the surroundings.

very nice hotel, a bit away from the city centre, thus, rather quiet. We had a large room with a great view towards the mountains. Great hospitality, friendly host (using google translate), and a nice small breakfast.

Very spacious room, extremely good value for money

A sewage smell in the room that lingered for our whole stay, not awful but definitely could be improved in that aspect.

The lady looking after the property is super nice, she made us breakfast before the actual breakfast time, as we had to leave early to catch a bus!The heated blanket saved us, as it was super cold, so we were nice and cosy in the nightime. Really clean, and everything you could ask for.

Dirtiest bathroom we’ve had in the whole of SE Asia. Could never tell if we were going to get hot water or not, the heater was sometimes turned off completely and it would run out mid shower if you managed to get any. The loudest street noise from outside due to constant traffic jams and beeping all hours. Windows didn’t shut and one window wasn’t actually a window as had no glass. Room was freezing so towels didn’t dry. Owner doesn’t speak English unless she wants you to pay. Didn’t tell us about breakfast included, had to work out the timings ourselves. Very expensive for the most basic accommodation
