This hotel is in such an exclusive neighborhood of Atlanta they cannot have a sign facing the road we came in on. They are doing construction but it was extremely hard to locate. Lighting in the bathroom was very dim. The bed gave my husband a backache.

Very clean and modern.
Great hotel and staff. Location wasnâ≢t bad just kinda tucked away off the main road. Would definitely stay again. Due to COVID has brown bag breakfast but it was decent and missed the hot breakfast.
When we got to the hotel, they didnâ≢t have a room for us...despite the fact that weâ≢d called ahead to notify them of our late arrival. I believe there was a problem with there not being enough housekeeping to clean rooms for us.

Their breakfast was good. And they always had hot water and coffee. Even my picky toddler ate more than just a waffle.

Top Tips
- For major Road Atlanta race weekends, book 60-90 days ahead; hotels in Braselton often sell out, leading to sharp rate jumps. Check event calendars for dates that impact availability.
- Compare the all-inclusive nightly cost at Chateau Elan, which offers a full resort experience including access to amenities like a spa and golf, against nearby chain hotels that often include free breakfast and parking.
- Expect complimentary on-site parking at most Braselton chain hotels, but confirm policies for Road Atlanta or Chateau Elan event weekends, as limits or shuttle setups may apply. Ask if ADA-accessible shuttles or convenient drop-off points are available.
- Plan 45-75 minutes to reach downtown Atlanta and 50-80 minutes to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL) from Braselton, located 40-50 miles northeast of the city, especially during I-85/I-285 rush hours. Use live map apps such as Google Maps or Waze for real-time traffic conditions.
- At Chateau Elan, proactively request a room on a higher floor or the non-event side, and check the resort's event calendar when booking to reduce nighttime noise from weddings or concerts. Notify the property in advance if you require an accessible room.
- Free Wi-Fi is standard at Braselton chain hotels, but for stable video calls, ask the property for measured speeds or reserve access to Chateau Elan’s business facilities. Business centers or guest workspaces may also be available for use.
- Braselton’s on-site dining options are limited, concentrating at Chateau Elan and the I-85/GA-53 corridors, so plan meals accordingly or budget 10-20 minutes to drive to larger centers like Buford or Winder for more variety. Ask hotel staff about local favorites or regional dishes for a taste of the area.
- Hotels typically place credit card holds for incidentals ($15-$200 USD); for resort packages or event billing at Chateau Elan, confirm any non-refundable charges or deposits at booking. Notify your card provider when traveling to help ensure successful transactions and be aware this hold may affect your available credit limit.
