    Pros +

    • The morning view is truly captivating. The road to this homestay was terrible. If u are not good as driving a bike and like crow place do not book this
    • + Excellent Location - a little away from the city and the roads leading aren't the best but great views, close to Cat Cat Village too + Great amenities provided in the room + Breakfast is good when served alacarte - buffet is just ok
    • I loved the location. Away from the hustle and bustle of Sapa and the view was spectacular.

    Cons -

    • - Basic cleanliness - spider webs everywhere, dead insects and ants in the room. Overall, could be better - Buffet breakfast not great - The bed mattress is super firm. I personally didn't like it
    • The bathroom shower was badly constructed. The drain was not put at the lowest part of the shower and bathroom and the water would puddle in the bathroom. That's why the rooms have a musty smell to them. This really needs to get fixed because the water is draining thru the walls. There is a mark outside the walls that proves it.
    • The lodge we stayed in had subsidence and was tilted.

The view alone makes this place worth staying. Peaceful. Quite a way from town along a bumpy road

Room with fantastic view. Nice landscape. Good staff.

We visit there in the cold day so it's a bit cold in the room. And water is not as warm as we need.

Beautiful and clean place. The staff was very professional and friendly.

One night in Sapa town was enough for us. Then we found the serenity and comfort that could only hope for. Very highly recommended.

We and others found the beds extremely firm.

Sin Chai Ecolodge is absolutely beautiful - the rooms are fabulous, the bathrooms are great and the main building with its ski chalet-style lobby and upstairs dining room with incredible views is impressive. The staff are also very friendly. The location of Sin Chai Ecolodge is wonderful in terms of views and it's a short walk to Cat Cat village. It's not far from Sa Pa (15 minutes in a taxi) but along quite a rough track at the end. We booked a trek organised by our taxi driver Tuk - our guide was called Mai. The trek was brilliant. Well worth it.

We were there in the winter and it does get quite cold but the staff kept the exterior doors open in the dining room and lobby - at times you had to dress up very warmly indoors and it was not conducive to enjoying a relaxing dinner. There was a fire in the lobby but you had to be close to it to feel any benefit. Whenever the guests were not in the lobby the staff would gather around the fire to keep warm. In fact, many places in Sa Pa were cold. We ate in a restaurant on one night and all diners were wearing coats. In our bedroom, the thin duvet was not enough to keep us warm although there was a very good heater/air con unit in the room. We asked for a blanket and were given a second duvet which was perfect.

Luxurious resort, cozy interior with soft beds and full amenities. Professional, friendly and enthusiastic staff.

Amazing! Super cozy place in the middle of nature but close to the center! They treated us great, very customer-friendly!

The view is amaaazing here. You could see paddy field and cable cars to Fansipan here. Nicely decorated room with comfortable beds, good breakfast and also very helpful staffs. They are very helpful in recommending activities and also offer ride services to places too. (Please ask for the price first and see if it fits your budget).

The road leading to the lodge is pretty bad and bumpy, there are many potholes, it makes me feel sorry to the Grab drivers that are picking us up. But the lodge is still reachable by even small cars, so that won't be a problem if you are not the one driving ?

The property infrastructure looks beautiful and has a lot of potential. The staff tried their best to be helpful and they were accommodating to dietary needs for dinner.

It’s hard to know where to begin. We were so excited to stay here as it looks flawless and relaxing from the photos. Our experience couldn’t have been further from that. We changed rooms 4 times within our two night stay. The first room smelled horribly of sewage after using the shower and sink. The second room was filled with cigarette and burning smells after turning on the AC and the third room, where we spent our first night, seemed fine. Shortly after moving we started hearing rats in the walls and ceiling that ran ALL NIGHT. During the night we had a cockroach infestation and I was woken up by one crawling ON ME in my sleep. We moved rooms the next morning bc of the rats only to be moved into a room with cockroach poop on the headboard and in the sheets. At this point there was no other room to move to so we stayed. During our second night, I was woken up a second time by a cockroach crawling on me and three others on the floor. We have been traveling in SE Asia for 4 months and have stayed at a range of hotels & homestays from $14 per night to $250 per night. I have NEVER been so disappointed, dissatisfied, and disgusted by an accommodation. In general, the property is lacking in cleanliness and maintenance. There is so much potential but it is absolutely missed. Not to mention the place is extremely far from Sa Pa center and the road to get there is truly horrible. You should have great motorbike driving skills to do it and even then it’s extremely unpleasant.

We had a nice stay. Everyone was very polite and we very much appreciated a room service after a long day of hiking. The view is just amazing. Breakfast and all the food was really good.

Bed was a bit hard for us and was sliding a lot to the front.

Spacious, luxurious rooms with beautiful views. Beautiful, spacious swimming pool for comfortable swimming and friendly staff.

    7SeanPosted on: 8-24-2024

Beautiful setting with stunning views of the mountain and country side.

Location is a few kilometers from Sapa and while beautiful it is rather remote and taxi or transfer rides are costly.

    9StephPosted on: 8-24-2024

The views of the countryside and Mt Fansipan are great. The staff have good English and are very helpful. They helped us arrange taxi rides and pick ups from the train station. The pool was a hit with the kids. The breakfast is delicious. They can also do lunch and dinner.

We thought the 2 bedroom house would have shared one house. But it was essentially 2 separate apartments which was less than ideal for a family of 4.

    10WooPosted on: 8-15-2024

Amazing view and comfortable beds. Staff provided transport to and from the town so it was very convenient. The breakfast was nice too, with freshly made pho and eggs

A rack for soap could be installed in the shower
