Sapa Legacy Hotel

Amazing stay at this picturesque hotel overlooking the city center and the magnificent lake. Hotel receptionist, Tam, took care of us wonderfully well with a genuine, real smile on her face. Room was clean with all amenities one can think of.

Location is close to the central city. Staff was accommodating and friendly, especially with Kevin. Helped us booked our bus going to the hotel and going to the airport. Balcony view is the lake

Bed was a little bit uncomfortable but still slept well

The room was ok, clean and quite comfortable We had a balcony with a lake view which was nice, but there were no chairs or table on the balcony so it wasn’t really functional. The location was excellent

Very loud during the night (noises from outside and from other rooms) so bring earplugs Breakfast was very basic, could use some improvements.

Great location, right on the lake in Sapa so you can see all the beautiful lit up trees and water features that light up and do a synchronised water show after dark on the lake. Cute little roof top restaurant/bar what you can sit and enjoy a drink and meal and look out over the lake. Breakfast was good, serving pho or eggs cooked to order and a range of other good food. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are plain but neat and everything was clean.

There was some very strange plumbing with the water from the shower drained under the bathtub and ran out onto the bathroom floor into a drain behind the toilet. Very interesting and innovative haha ??

Nothing to shout about customer service! Frontdesk lady was reluctant to help make a call to the bus company to check about pick up time. No smile or any show of pleasantries.Guy in charge of cooking eggs during breakfast was also just going thru the motion. Both should not be working in hospitality job!

Bathroom not very clean.

Location facing the lake, walking distance to town center, food resto.

Toilet hand bidet not working, room not soundproof enough where u can hear the 2nd floor room chit chatting.

1. The Sapa Lake View as this is the only view that I haven't got ever since I started visiting Sapa.2. The breakfast has quite a spread. It did its job for me because I do have dietary restrictions as a Muslim. For the non-muslims and non-vegans it's really, really substantial and cheap.3. Thanks to Ms Thu & Ms Hang for arranging my shared limousine transportation to Ninh Binh.

1. The guests and the staff (?) smoke in the restaurant. I read somewhere in the guests reviews about the same thing. I think the hotel should put a stop to it. 2. The non-speaking English staff; it makes you exasperated as you can't even ask basic questions. It's common here though in Vietnam.3. Suddenly no hot water in my bathroom room that I had to take cold water shower.

We really enjoyed this location and the outlook, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Very close to all the action of Sapa, but a little quieter and more relaxed.A little confused as the hotel is named Sapa Legacy but everything was branded Max Hills?The room was a great size, with furniture and fittings nicely decorating the room. The massive bed while on the firmer side was comfy enough and the team kindly accommodated more pillows.Great air conditioning! Believe it or not this is hard to come by in Vietnam but this unit was perfect to keep a comfortable temperature of the room.

The staff (apart from one girl with glasses at reception and housekeeping) were more interested in themselves than providing service to guests. They either constantly frowned or wouldn’t even speak to assist. Breakfast left much to be desired. Limited buffet, items not replenished and basic foods. In hindsight we would have preferred to have breakfast elsewhere. The shower head in our room was broken, squirting water all over the place and ran out of hot water while in use.Chair inside our room was torn had a damaged (shorter) leg meaning it couldn’t have been used. The balcony on this building is part of the reason we chose this hotel, but would be nice to have seating out here to enjoy the view.

The location was perfect and accessible. The view on our balcony was really wonderful. Friendly and accommodating staff. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We’ll definitely book this hotel again when we come back to Sapa!

Worth every penny. The lake view room is exactly across the lake. Bathroom is remodeled recently. With the price point, there’s absolutely no complain

Nice location. Just in front of Sa Pa Lake. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, There are enough choice for breakfast , good taste. Our two bedroom suite were wonderful. beds are clean and comfortable . Walking distance to everything. VALUE FOR MONEY.
