Angkor Comfort Hotel

Nice big rooms. Clean and very comfortable. Helpful staff. Shower excellent. Hot water and good pressure.

No safety deposit box in room. Every hotel or guesthouse must know that foreigners have valuables with them.

Ok but unremarkable

Air con struggled to cool the room much. Only there 2 nights so didn't want the hassle of complaining and moving rooms so put up with it. Generally the hotel was undergoing renovations but currently its a bit tired.

The shower had the hottest water in Cambodia and the bed may have been the comfiest as well! Very strong wifi (I worked teaching classes online via video chat and had no issues whatsoever)

Cleaning staff is very loud talking and playing music/videos on phone when in the hall cleaning rooms early in the morning. Woke me up multiple mornings

This hotel is a real mixed baglarge clean room, comfortable bed, AC that always worked and was quiet, actually the best we encountered in a month of travel. The staff were super, especially the main concierge. The location is good, next to the night market and not far from the main market, near one very good restaurant (Jaan Bai) and some other OK ones. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the money, if you are OK with its shortcomings (see below).

The space is dimly lit, making it hard to shave or apply make-up, for example. The water was nice and hot later in the day, only luke-warm in the morning. The room is sparsely furnished, with no comfortable seating. There is no common space where you can read or lounge outside your room. And there is no breakfast. We knew this going in, but didnt appreciate how much difference it would make. There are restaurants and coffee shops nearby, but even coffee and a croissant for two adds $10 to the lodging cost. And there is no place to get the range of breakfast options typically offered by a large hotel.

The room was huge and the bedding was clean.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to most restaurants etc. There was a lot of cockroaches in the room and I couldnt get the aircon to work on my second night.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, looked like the pictures. Staff behind the desk spoke very good English. It is in a quiet part of Battambang but we enjoyed that.

Wi-fi so weak it was unusable. No bathroom exhaust. Aircon focused directly on bed; couldn't regulate temperature (common problem in Southeast Asian hotels).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were basic but clean, good air-con and comfortable bed.

Saw several bugs in the hallway and room. The hotel is close to the river so there are mosquitoes. WiFi in the room was barely working, but our room was at the very end of the hallway.

Very large room, vintage furniture, unique antique bed, helpful staff.

Very low lights in the room. Things have destroyed in the past and didnt replaced( a mirror). In the bathroom was the biggest problem. Water was running in the floor and smelled bad. No hot water.( if someone need hot water in these temperatures). No breakfast. The hotel, the building, may be in the past, was great, now need renovation immediately.

Only location Was good. The lady who spoke English with short yellow streaked hair was the only reception staff member who was helpful. I was on 4th floor, tv, intermittently out everyday. Internet did not work most of my 5 days there. Although, I do not liked to have my room cleaned often, the housekeeping staff very friendly and made sure I had water every day.

No restaurant, no snacks,no pool, no nothing.
