Ramchang Guesthouse

Quiet hotel with a nice pool and chilling area. The rooms around the pool looked really nice. We stayed in a room in another area, it was very big, comfy bed. There is a restaurant where the staff cook you fresh food. And you can hire a motorbike which was great to get around. Lovely staff, they helped with ordering tuk tuks. Great value for money!

Unfortunately bathroom had quite a bad smell, that got worse when it rained. The bedsheets also didnt smell great and there were some stains on the towels. It was bearable for a couple of nights.

Lovely quiet guesthouse just a 5 min tuk tuk ride into town. Perfect to escape the noise and hustle and bustle of the city with the convenience being close by, and close to Pharre circus. The decor was super cute and lovely, with gardens and water features throughout. The restaurant has an extensive and tasty menu enjoyed by both our western and Khmer family members.The pool is lovely, the rooms were clean and larger than we expected, good wifi connection. Typical amenities for this price range - don't expect the Shangri-La, but if you're after budget accommodation you will love it!The hosts were lovely and helpful during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked 4 bedrooms via booking for a total price of USD 72,40. the payment was directly made to the hotel for a total of usd80. (One of the twin room was not ready at 15:30 whereas we got a confirmation taht all will be ready on time. and the other one twin room was not with a pool view, that cost in theory less than the pool view, but we were charge at dame cost of a pool view. swimming pools water doesnt look clean(water was cloudy). Our room was next to the poultry house. So we were awake up by the roaster shout from 3am to 8am. Some animals ran on the roof of the room. The hotel shows on Booking website a nice snooker place but when we ask for playing, the manager told us it is not available due to a bad conditions. So the pictures are not updated as it looked old in real life.

Everything!! Beautiful place. Big rooms. Good restaurant. Great pool and pool area. Scooters for rent.In a charming, rustic, rural setting away from the town, with small shops very close by.Excellent value for money.The very best thing is that it is a family run place. The owners and staff are so welcoming and super-friendly that you feel comfortable and happy immediately on arrival and for the rest of your stay.

It's about 20 minutes walk to the town, but easy to grab a tuk-tuk ride there for one dollar.The bicycles all had punctured tyres, but they did say they would get them repaired if we wanted to use them.

Room with a lounge but very basic, nothing to complain for the price... Good people.

Not exactly what we expected. Really local place a bit far from town, room needs upgrade. Ok for a few nights. Bar next door, might play loud music in the evening. Ac not really good, mattress a bit hard.The room was not near the pool, this part was looking more beautiful but probably more expensive too. Pretty empty though, could have give an upgrade.

No direct day light Dark rooms and noise from the road next to the accomodation. When you book the cheap rooms. rooms around swimmingpool as on the pickture and much better where I stay is in a buillding nextdoor

We asked to move to the rooms at the back, which the owner kindly agreed to. These rooms are brighter and have direct access to the pool, so a better bet than the enormous family rooms in the older part. It's a little out of town (we knew that), but has parking available. Pool was nice after a day on the road.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel to get out and explore Battambang. It's not too far from town by tuktuk. The rooms were big and the twin had a privacy curtain. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

The room was FALSELY advertised, pictures did NOT match what I booked. The room was FULL of mosquitoes (I mean close to 100 on the first night), the owner has basically given up, charged me more than the actual booking fee and constantly hinted for tips and booking.com could not care less!

Holiday period and isolated expected the restaurant to be open for breakfast. Went hungry every day.

I loved the location, it was quiet and comfortable. The staff were lovely too. The rooms and grounds are really very nice too. I found them helpful of course when it suited them financially. Overall it was just an ok place to stay.

I was unhappy that they failed to reply to all communications prior to checking in and also failed to advise that the pool was out of order. I booked this place especially for the pool for my birthday and to arrive and find it empty was more than a letdown.

Rooms are very nice with a sitting area and sofa and then separate bedroom with a really comfortable bed plus cable TV and it was very clean and a peaceful environment. The pool area is also nice.

The restaurant being open but due to lack of tourism it is understandable why it wasn't available. Location very poor due to a bad road which isn't convenient at all and fairly far from anything.

I chose not to have breakfast so cannot comment. Its a little out of town and I like that. My upstairs room had a balcony overlooking the pool. It was quiet, apart from birdsong and monks chanting in the distance sometimes. A huge, very comfy, bed. Lovely pool. Cheerful yellow decor. Manager happy to negotiate a price ( being COVID time and a single traveller) - Grateful for this. Helpful staff- one even took me to town n her moto. Thank you.

Such a lovely place, the staff are friendly, the food is great, it has a nice pool and its in a quiet area with easy journey to the city. Really lovely guest house.
