Loved the extensive menu. The heater in the room was very effective. The views were lovely. The village was quiet and friendly. Within walking distance to the village.

The HARD bed. There was not enough hot water for two showers.

Break fast was good on the first day. On second day it was not so good. Not sufficient quantity of food was served initially.

Food was very good on the first night. On the second night the same items were ordered. From soup to garlic chicken and Chicken chowmen all different and of inferior quality. Same is for the breakfast on the day of check out.

The road outside was potholed and very bad even for walking. But the hotel per se was quite comfortable

Helpful staff, close to town, good food, plenty of towels and toiletries, room service, arranged taxi for us to Chandigarh, plenty of space, kitchen attached with kettle, sink and fridge

Room was cold, not enough heating. Wifi didn't work in bedroom so had to go out in cold to use.

the rooms were down below the hill, for the elders (above 60) it was a task going up n down for each meal, but they did that by choice. many ppl ordered food in the room

No cupboard/closet in a family room! Clothes needed to be kept on the sofa.2 out of 3 pax could not connect onto wifi in 4 days we were there.Shower had a trickle of water

it’s a heritage property, excellently maintained and managed. Staff was very hospitable and courteous. I will definitely stay at this property whenever I come to Kasauli next time.

The staff and location

No Power back in premium category rooms. There were two power cuts, one power cut for about 1 hour in night and other in the morning. They didnt have generator for main wing of hotel which consists of premium rooms. The check-in was troublesome as I was not provided the deluxe category room which I had booked, and was made to pay additional amount for premium room. I had no problem paying that but the hotel should have ensured that if they don't have deluxe category room for which the customer has a confirmation booking voucher, then they should have themselves accomodated in other available category.

though the breakfast was served in the dining hall and the attendant was a nice person but still it was below the status of the Hotel. I thought the property being a heritage property would be nice, but it was far away from that. The tariff was of five star hotel with one star Hotel facilities . I would never recommend to any friend of relative.

Starts with the housekeeping , NO water in the rooms. no intercom.Room with a tarrif of Rs.6200/- plus taxes should provide full facilities

Good place with excellent and fresh food,staff is also very nice. It's located in the centre of kasauli,they have their personal parking so it makes it tension free. Overall good experience.
