The front desk was able to fulfill my request for a room with the spectacular view and spacious balcony--perfect for my meetings. The king size bed provided me with the best sleep I've had in years :-) Housekeeping was great and the staff at the restaurant was excellent.

During checkout, my assistant was charged for an extra room-key that she never requested or received. I was the only one who requested the extra room key for my room. I suspect that she got charged because her room was reserved under my booking #. Also, though I did not take advantage of the swimming pool, it looks like it needs to be resurfaced or remodeled because it looks dirty.

Location was central and staff from reception, security to restaurant staff were all great.

What wasn’t great was the accommodation versus the price we paid for the suite. Yes we got the biggest room so we were prepared for the expense. But we expected to be given more value for our money. The terrace was unusable, it had a basic table and not enough chairs. We stayed in a lot of resort and hotels worldwide and I could say this was really a disappointment

Location was great but the price we paid was not worth the accomodation. It’s overpriced for a view that’s so so..

We had go go down thru a flight of stairs to go to our family suite, passing thru the wet floor of the pool area. Room was insufficiently lit. Bare necessities given. We had a terrace but not really usable. Dirty table and chairs in the terrace. Bed was comfortable and reception staff and security staff were great though

We booked the property for the view. But the fog and rain were bad, no view was seen at all

Very long check-in process. The staff always took s long time replying to messages prior to the visit. We weren’t informed that our room was not usable because of the rain. There were 5 of us, so we booked the cellar family premium with 4 beds, a table and bigger space.They gave us the executive premium, which they said was more expensive, but it was smaller than what we wanted. With only two big beds. We paid for an extra bed just like we planned, and it was vert comfortable. There was a table for meals, but it was in the balcony which was veru wet from the rain.The staff and food during breakfast were very good.Check-out again took a long time because theye needed to check the room.

The pool is not heated .So it was quite cold for early morning swim even during summer

Ambience, room quality, service.

Not much area outside the building to walk around. You are stuck in the room or in Bellisima. Bfast doesn't have much variety with respect to breads, cheese, cold cuts. Good for Filipino breakfast, though.

i expected the heated pool 'cause in tagaytay usually is verry cold in fact we didn't use the pool

Lovely, clean, spacious well set out room and bathroom. Pool delightful. Wonderful views. Staff so friendly and helpful.

The beautiful view of the Taal Lake while having a sumptuous breakfast at Bellissima Restaurant is definitely a good reason to come back at Escala Tagaytay.

The slow wifi

Easy to find it’s in the heart of the city. Great view and great place to stay at. Friendly and accommodating staffs and very good breakfast.

Great location and the views are spectacular.

Facilities and decorations have deteriorated a bit, despite the pricier rates.

The rooms and the breakfast buffet were okay. Nothing special but okay. The view is what you pay for.

The check out process was a bit time consuming. I guess I got used to how it’s done in Australia. Reception could use a smile when dealing with guests. Also the traffic in the area was terrible.

The breakfast buffet quality was average. It can be improved. Also, the appointment for the spa was already fully booked even though we just checked in at 4pm.

Cleanliness, Staff, Breakfast Buffet

The view of the of the Taal Lake and the staff's are very friendly and service is very good.

Room doors are difficult to open and close. Toilet flush and seat needs to be upgraded/remodeled, most of the time difficult to push the toilet flush button.Hotel floors in the lobby and restaurant is not well-maintained and looks dirty. The hotel needs an overall renovation.

Light ng room po, dim masyado. Swimming pool, madumi and yung time limit should be extended.TV no account sa netflix and disney plus need pa personal account pa para magamit.

The location

The maintenance of cleanliness of the facilities, the.variety of cuisine offered at the buffet didn't meet our expectations considering the high cost of price.

Decent views

Wildly overpriced. Not clean. Rooms showing many signs of maintenance neglect. Really not worth the price.
